When one uses a search engine online using my name, and my trade name, The Austin Wine Guy, one finds a deluge of defamatory and simply out right lies spread across the Internet results now going back years all from her hand.
I would NOT even have written here, had this person not continually written her own false and defamatory statements herself and aided and abetted other personae writing "on her behalf" for the last ten years. If she doesn't want me to say anything about her, she ought not have been continually blogging and writing about me much less aiding and encouraging others to do so as well.
The woman behind all of this uses alias names: Oma Hamou, Oma McConnell, Alexandra McConnell, Alexandra Hamou, Alexandra Moran, Oma Demian, Alexandra Murphy, are the usual ones, but there are others. She used the name "Kathryn Kennedy" to obtain money from a woman who was approached to adopt her child (she only took her child back, on literally the last possible day, after the adoptive mother refused to continue to pay her any more money.) She uses a business name of "Enigma Royal Films, LLC" she also calls just "Enigma Films" and "Reseda Glass" and "Worldwide Construction Enterprises, Inc." I learned about her genuine background, and she wants me silenced from speaking about it.
This woman admits that her actions are all motivated by her bitterness and hatred towards me, and this is the reason for her actions.
This woman, Oma Hamou, Oma McConnell, Alexandra McConnell, Alexandra Hamou, Oma Demian, Alexandra Murphy and her other aliases have a twenty plus year track record of FELONY CONVICTIONS, multiple arrests, failure to abide by the requirements of her probation for her felony convictions which lead to more arrests, many many civil judgments against her for hundreds of thousands of dollars, a history of writing bad checks, and she was arrested late in 2008 in San Bernardino California on a Felony Charge of Forgery of a Financial Instrument (she seems to have forged a large check) After 14 months of dragging the process out, she paid the Victim full restitution and the District Attorney dropped the Felony charge. She has a history of evictions and bad checks.

FLED the Court on March 13, 2014 when faced with revocation of Probation for Animal Cruelty conviction sentence and new criminal charges. She was charged with FIVE Felony Animal Abuse Charges. She was out on bail set at $101,000.
Further, she was ARRESTED BY THE BURBANK POLICE DEPARTMENT ON FRIDAY MARCH 8, 2013 ON A FELONY CRIMINAL WARRANT FOR FAILURE TO APPEAR IN COURT ON ANIMAL ABUSE CHARGES THAT WERE FILED AGAINST HER ON JANUARY 29, 2013 IN PALMDALE.
SHE WAS HELD FROM 1130 AM UNTIL 4:15pm and released on bail.

She was given 36 months conditional probation by Judge Harmon. She was required, among other things, to enroll in 24 Animal Neglect classes and provide the Court proof she had enrolled within thirty days. She was also prohibited from possessing ANY animals at all for three full years.
"Alexandra McConnell" failed to provide the proof of enrollment and failed to appear as ordered by Judge Harmon. The Court immediately revoked her Probation and summarily issued a $50,000 bail arrest warrant in October 2013.
This is the probation which was revoked by reason of her fleeing the Courthouse rather than face Judge Harmon who indicated he was going to remand her to Jail.
In responding to complaints of animal neglect, abuse and overcrowded conditons in a Lancaster California residence, "Alexandra McConnell" was arrested AGAIN on December 16, 2013 by the responding officers when they discovered the outstanding arrest warrant, and 96 sick, filthy and neglected animals found living in the most deplorable of conditions were confiscated from her Lancaster California residence by the Lancaster Animal Control Shelter. Having these animals violated the Court Order. Oma Hamou aka Alexandra McConnell, Booking No.: 3805070 was held in custody for 36 hours before being released on a $50,000 bond. d a hearing on this Case, number 3AV0072401 was scheduled on the matter for January 7, 2014 in the Antelope Valley Courthouse.

The same Judge Harmon remembered her at a 2015 hearing for the new felony charges. He stated in open Court "I remember this case. It was horrific. Horrible." He then demanded she provide the proof she had complied with his probation requirements of Community Service, numerous animal care classes, "Victim Restitution" and Not Possessing any Animals. She failed to provide that proof and was arrested on the spot in Court on March 16, 2015 and held pending an additional $100,000 bail for the alleged Probation Violation. She was released on bond on March 21.
She had posted $250,000 total bail in the last 18 months on these Animal Abuse Charges.
Oma Hamou aka Oma McConnell was found GUILTY OF FELONY ANIMAL ABUSE on April 23, 2015 by Judge Harmon.
She was sentenced:
- 5 years of formal probation, with Hamou to report to Probation within 48 hours
- 90 days of community service
- attend 48 Level 2 Animal Cruelty classes for hoarding
- attend psychological counseling
- possess no animals for 10 years
- pay restitution for the costs incurred by Animal Control in tending to her animals

In 2008 Ms. Chipi was seeking a short sale of her home. A realtor named Kevin Davies (phone available upon request) introduced Oma McConnell to Ms. Chipi, claiming she had loan approval to purchase the house but that McConnell wanted to move in as a renter prior to closing the sale. (This was exactly the scenario she used to gain occupancy at Mr. O'Connor's house in Littlerock.) Ms. Chipi agreed.
The first rental check was written on a closed account. No further rental payments were made. McConnell moved in with her son and another man. The house was thoroughly trashed. Numerous animals were kept in one room which was badly damaged. Carpeting was ripped out. Appliances were removed. The kitchen caught fire.
Ms. Chipi sought help from the Sheriff's department which told her that they could do nothing without an eviction order. Ms. Chipi filed a U.D. (Case No. 08U03169 - Michael Antonovich Antelope Valley Courthouse), which she later dropped due to lack of resources. She said that Kevin Davies also filed an action against McConnell and that she failed to show for the hearing.
Ms. Chipi says she has some files on the incident, as does Mr. Davies, and that she also has undeveloped film of the damage done to the house.
Robert Atchison
Won a Civil Judgment against Oma Hamou for her failure to pay him consulting fees as she promised him she would do.
A District Court Judge has signed an order requiring her to schedule and appear at a deposition in Austin Texas no later than September 3, 2011 to disclose her assets, finances, and employment information, and she is further ORDERED to comply by providing the requested financial, employment and asset documentation to Mr. Atchison no later than August 20. She did nothing. Her failure to do these things resulted in an order of Contempt of Court.
August 2011: Hamou/McConnell tried to derail Mr. Atchison's debt collection with a last moment filing of a "Bill of Review". Hamou's Bill of Review was dismissed on July 26, 2011 by the Hon Judge Cooper of the District Court. Hamou now has no choice but to comply with the Court order.
OCTOBER 18:
The Court slapped Oma Hamou with an Order of Contempt of Court and imposed $1,000 sanctions against her for failing to comply with the Ordered Document Production and Deposition.
January 2012: District Court Lora Livingston Slapped an ORDER TO APPEAR AND SHOW CAUSE on Oma Hamou requiring her to appear in Person to explain her continuing violation of Court Orders. Her failure to appear will most likely result in a Bench Warrant for her Arrest:
Hamou failed to appear as ordered by the Court. As a result, a BENCH WARRANT for her arrest was issued on March 26, 2012 by the same Judge Livingston in the Travis County District Court
Hamou attempted in June 2012 to ask the Court to vacate the Bench Warrant, but it seems her "Paralegal" one Robert Richman (a Tai Chi master and Torah Scholar, as well as "Paralegal") seems to have chickened out on continuing.
In 2012 "Oma McConnell" filed for Bankruptcy in order to forestall debtor's exams and collection efforts. She failed to file any required schedules or information, despite Court orders to do so. Her Bankruptcy was dismissed for that failure. However, On August 20, 2012 Judge Robles of the US Federal Bankruptcy Court ordered her Bankruptcy proceedings to be re-instated and ordered her to comply with Document Production requests and Deposition by attorneys for Bob Atchison, which are now scheduled for late September. Hamou/McConnell FAILED TO COMPLY WITH THE COURT ORDERED DOCUMENT PRODUCTION REQUIRED NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 14, 2012. She further FAILED TO COMPLY WITH THE COURT ORDER THAT SHE APPEAR FOR A DEPOSITION ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2012. She can now be held in Contempt of Court.
October 31, 2012, the Bankruptcy Court dismissed Oma McConnell's bankruptcy due to her utter failure to file even one single required schedule or document. Judge Ernesto Robles said her creditors "are free to pursue their State claims against her".
March 2013: Mr. Atchison has had his Judgment made final in California and localized to California and is proceeding to collect against her. A Debtors Exam (ORAP) has now been issued and ordered by the Los Angeles Superior Court for Hamou/McConnell to appear in Court.
January 29, 2014: A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge awarded Mr. Atchison $2,800 in costs against "Oma McConnell" for her filing a false Civil Restraining Order against him to attempt to stop his lawful Judgment Collection Efforts.

May 2015: The Federal Bankruptcy Court ruled completely in Mr. Atchison's favor in an Adversary Action filed against "Oma McConnell" as part of her fourth Bankruptcy filing. Mr. Atchison was granted a Default Judgment against her, which ordered that the debt owed to him by Oma Hamou may never be discharged in Bankruptcy. THE COURT FURTHER RULED THAT OMA HAMOU COMMITTED FRAUD AGAINST MR. ATCHISON, AS SHE NEVER ACTUALLY INTENDED TO PAY HIM.
THE COURT FURTHER RULED THAT OMA HAMOU WAS GUILTY OF DEFAMATION AGAINST MR. ATCHISON FOR THE YEARS AND YEARS OF UNTRUE AND DEFAMATORY WEB POSTINGS SHE HAS WRITTEN ABOUT HIM.
THE COURT FURTHER ISSUED AN PERMANENT INJUNCTION AGAINST OMA HAMOU DEMANDING SHE STOP POSTING SUCH MATERIAL ABOUT MR. ATCHISON FOREVER MORE AND THAT SHE TAKE DOWN ALL PREVIOUS DEFAMATORY POSTINGS.

THE COURT FURTHER RULED THAT OMA HAMOU IS A VEXATIOUS LITIGANT WITH RESPECT TO MR. ATCHISON AND HAS ISSUED ORDERS THAT OMA HAMOU MAY NOT FILE ANY FURTHER ACTIONS, PROCEEDING, MOTIONS OR HEARINGS AGAINST MR. ATCHISON WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION FROM THE SPECIFIC COURT.

Homeowner in Littlerock California who was selling his house using the services of Shari Porter agent with Big Valley Realty in Palmdale California. Shari Porter brought "Alexandra Moran" using an expired drivers license in the name of Oma Hamou to Mr. O'Connor as a "Qualified Buyer" of his home. Shari Porter insisted Oma Hamou be allowed to rent part of the home as a room mate of Mr. O'Connor until the sale closed. Porter kept informing Mr. O'Connor that Hamou was pre-qualified by lenders, yet never actually provided the required documentation proving this to O'Connor. Shari Porter told O'Connor that Hamou had deposited funds into escrow at Titan Escrow in Palmdale, but again refused to give O'Connor any actual escrow documents. Hamou delayed closing for a full five months, then refused to close when O'Connor demanded. She further refused to leave the property and squatted in the residence with four men, another woman and four or five children and literally ten or twelve dogs and forty to fifty cats. She has moved an old trailer and cargo boxes onto the property as well. She has squatted on Mr. O'Connor's property for over 18 months without paying rent. This sadly forced Mr. O'Connor to lose his property to Foreclosure and Declare Bankruptcy, as direct results of this woman's scams and lies.

2011 "Alexandra Moran" rented a room from Patrick J. O'Connor, but presented an expired California Drivers License in the name of Oma Hamou. She then claimed to want to purchase the property. She delayed the purchase for FIVE MONTHS with numerous stories, and is now squatting on the property without permission nor paying rent . She lives there with her son, Nicholas Royal Moran, who has severe psychiatric disorders (his is currently under Conservatorship pursuant to the California Lanterman Petris Short Act) and has a history of violence, both domestic and with police. Mr. O'Connor himself witnessed Nicholas Moran beat his mother in front of him in the residence. She also lives with one Steve Fred Lee, who has over 15 criminal convictions for eluding police, indecent exposure and habitual driving with a revoked drivers license. Another squatter on the property is one Michael McBride who lives with four or five of his children also on the property. Hamou also has literally many dozens of cats and more than 10 dogs on the property. Hamou attempted to keep Mr. O'Connor from evicting her by filing a Restraining Order against Mr. O'Connor alleging he made threats of violence against her and her son. However, she did NOT file this order until a full TWO WEEKS after Mr. O'Connor left the residence and moved to Alaska! Hearing on the requested Restraining order was held Friday July 15. Hamou first requested a continuance! The Judge refused to delay the hearing. After the Judge examined her criminal record, arrest record and history of evictions and Judgments, the Judge in so many words called Hamou "a Criminal and Con Artist" recognized her string of VICTIMS and refused to grant the restraining order, and further told Hamou that while he could not order her out at the moment, she did have to leave O'Connor's property and pay him the rent owed. Hamou told O'Connor by email she will be out by September 1. Mr. O'Connor's attorney has begun Eviction Proceedings against Hamou McConnell and her other squatters. While Hamou wrote Mr. O'Connor that she would be "out of the house by September 1" she has hired a lawyer to delay the eviction proceedings. Reports indicate that the house is trashed, with old furniture in the yard, many old rusted trucks, tires, boxes and piles of trash are strewn across the property.

Selling property that she admits isn't HERS to sell legally! Isn't that "grand theft"??
Also, taking money for property you do not own nor have title to by claiming it is yours to sell is "THEFT BY DECEPTION" a felony crime for which she has been convicted three times in the past.

She is truly psychotic in her daily compulsion because I stumbled onto these actual facts of her past, and present, which do not coincide with the personae she wants to project to others.

Oma Hamou Alexandra McConnell filed for Bankruptcy twice with the Federal Court simply to derail legitimate enforcement of the many judgments against her . Oma Hamou owns two business entities, Enigma Films, Inc., and The Sarskaia Foundation plus Enigma Royal Films, LLC. Further, Oma Hamou owns and operates a website at www.OmaHamou.com, where she and alleged friends post information about her. Interestingly, Ms Hamou lists her own company, Enigma Films as her employer. The clear inference is that Enigma Films earns money with which to pay her as an employee. Yet, there is no declaration or disclosure of her ownership of these companies, nor disclosure of the value of these assets she owns.
HOWEVER: Her 2010 Tax Return states that she PURCHASED "Reseda Glass" in April 2010, three full months before the Bankruptcy filing.
Notice here in her Loan Application she lists $145,000 CASH as an asset, yet, she FAILS to identify exactly WHERE that cash is.
The Refai Judgment was just the previous year, yet she FAILED to disclose that to the lender. She lists small old debts, some as long ago as ten years, BUT FAILS TO DISCLOSE A SINGLE DEBT SHE LISTS ON THE BANKRUPTCY PETITION, JUST SIX MONTHS EARLIER. Interestingly, she doesn't list a SINGLE one of the debts on her Loan Application on her Bankruptcy Petition either!see below
Hamou received in excess of $50,000 in cash from Mr. Refai in May 2009, (see above) for which she signed a promissory note. Hamou made no disclosure of the whereabouts of this large sum of cash, nor did she disclose just where this substantial asset went. She FAILED to mention it to her lender as well...
Her 2010 IRS returns show "income" of $38,000 or $2,459 per month. She claims a "sole proprietorship" called "Reseda Glass" that "installs glass in high rise buildings" but has NO Federal Employer ID number, nor does she list any WAGES paid to any "employees". Is this almost 50 year old woman hanging off the side of a building installing glass ALL BY herself?
Her 2009 IRS Return, filed the same day (April 2011) swears that she was self employed earning $2,130 per month.
HOWEVER, her Bankruptcy Petition shows she claimed to have been employed for TEN YEARS by "Enigma Films and Glass Tech" earning $3,000 per month.

This is further confirmed by an email from a former roommate who wrote on July 8, 2009: By the way Hamid's wife knows it was LIPOSUCTION you drained their bank account for, not cancer in your asshole.
August 23, 2010 on her website: yes she is still undergoing treatment for her cancer. I can definitely attest to the fact that she has indeed suffered from cancer. Those treatments are so hard on her that I have had to help her back to the car, then into her house and even into bed because they leave her so sick and weak that she cannot do anything.

Thanks RJ! We had a lovely dinner last night. Friends came over, I opened a fine bottle of Boulard Bauquaire single grower Champagne (THANKS for the tip, I'd never had it before) and I cooked a perfect Turkey! I riffed on the NY Times Recipe by wrapping the breast in bacon for an hour and a half after the first 45 minutes, taking the bacon off (cook's treat) 45 minutes before it was done to brown the skin perfectly.

May 2015: The Federal Bankruptcy Court ruled completely in Mr. Atchison's favor in an Adversary Action filed against "Oma McConnell" as part of her fourth Bankruptcy filing. Mr. Atchison was granted a Default Judgment against her, which ordered that the debt owed to him by Oma Hamou may never be discharged in Bankruptcy. THE COURT FURTHER RULED THAT OMA HAMOU COMMITTED FRAUD AGAINST MR. ATCHISON, AS SHE NEVER ACTUALLY INTENDED TO PAY HIM.
THE COURT FURTHER RULED THAT OMA HAMOU WAS GUILTY OF DEFAMATION AGAINST MR. ATCHISON FOR THE YEARS AND YEARS OF UNTRUE AND DEFAMATORY WEB POSTINGS SHE HAS WRITTEN ABOUT HIM.

"Defendant's abusive activities have occurred both in bankruptcy court and outside of bankruptcy. Defendant has brought the following proceedings, all of which were without merit and several of which she declined to even prosecute, illustrating that such matters were brought for the harrassing effect that they would have on the plaintiff and not for any proper purpose.
Her conduct in connection with this adversary proceeding has also demonstrated a consistent pattern of litigiousness and delay. She has filed repeated motions to vacate her default in this action and consistently claims to have misunderstood instructions given by the court, each time requesting a further opportunity to respond and providing irrelevant documents and materials that again relate to claims and contentions that are unrelated to the issues currently pending before the court.
Her Bill of Review was frivolous and utterly lacking in merit and was promptly dismissed in response to plaintiff's motion for such relief. Her motions for protective orders were equally frivolous, based on a bill of review that should never have been filed and on a theory that never held water.

Hi, folks. Sorry for my long absence, but I've been doing some traveling relating to some new projects that have tied me up quite a bit.
Today I finally caught a moment to see what Hamou is up to, and I find that the same old story continues as she blunders from one misunderstanding (whether born of deliberate attempts to manipulate the truth or of her abyssmal grasp of legal procedure) to another.
She somehow thinks that the Department of Justice is the linchpin of whether or not she will be criminally charged. That, of course, is wrong. Once a federal judge seeks to have a litigant in a civil matter jailed for criminal contempt, as did Judge Bluebond, the matter has already become a criminal case before the court.
Rule 42 of federal court procedure requires that the case be prosecuted by a prosecutor who was not a party to the underlying civil proceeding. That can be the Department of Justice if it so chooses. However, if the DOJ declines to prosecute, that does not mean the matter gets dropped. It simply means that the judge hearing the case is then required to appoint an independent private prosecutor.
I could go on about all the other confusion Hamou displays about the posture of this case in her recent mess of a motion, but we've been there many times before.
Just remember one critical thing if reading Hamou's babble on her newest blog: no matter how much she rants on about all the things her medical condition prevented her from doing, on the day she missed a court appearance before Judge Bluebond on the contempt charge -- supposedly due to her horrible malady -- a member of Judge Bluebond's staff saw her in the courthouse and reported it to Judge Bluebond. And Judge Bluebond brought this up in her motion to Judge Real to have Hamou incarcerated.
Now you tell me whether Judge Real is going to believe any of her blather.

All the Federal Chief Bankruptcy Court Judge has done is ask the District Court to exercise the Criminal Power which the Bankruptcy Court does not have.

I see that Hamou's confusion about the current legal proceedings continues this afternoon.

As Judge Bluebond pointed out, Hamou's medical condition -- for which she never submitted sufficient proof -- only bore on the question of whether she could attend the contempt hearing on October 8. Her medical condition in October had no bearing on the primary question before Judge Bluebond, which was why Hamou had been in defiance FOR MONTHS of a court order issued in April requiring her to remove defamatory posts about Bob Atchison from the internet.
Now Hamou, having been backed into a corner, is at last admitting she really was at the courthouse on October 8. But her excuse is that she got the hearing time mixed up. While straining credibility in any case, this is the SECOND time she missed a hearing before Judge Bluebond while claiming to have had the time confused.
Apparently Hamou is of the opinion that courts have to bring proceedings to a screeching halt and wait for defendants who repeatedly miss hearings to get around to straightening out their calendars.
It wasn't too far into the numerous proceedings in Judge Bluebond's court that she and her entire staff realized Hamou was mentally ill.
It seems that Judge Real and his staff are soon to embark on the same journey of discovery.
While I'm sure there will be some sympathy for Hamou's mental state, a court nevertheless cannot allow conduct by the unhinged person that has been found to be defamatory to continue to harm another person.
Having exhausted every other available avenue to bring Hamou into compliance with her court orders, Judge Bluebond -- with some regret in light of Hamou's mental state -- finally concluded that nothing short of incarceration had any prospect of forcing Hamou to accept the authority and the rulings of a federal court.
Of course, Hamou's long history of almost two dozen adverse judgments, several arrests, court orders with which she never complied, judgements she never paid, and jail time served for violating probation orders by several state courts make Judge Bluebond's conclusion eminently understandable.

An interesting entry on PACER today:
Judge Real has cancelled next week's hearing on Hamou's motion to quash Judge Bluebond's criminal referral for contempt and will rule based on the papers already filed by Hamou and by Barry Wegman.
In other words, Hamou is not going to get to argue in person her case for dropping this matter.
This was pretty much a foregone conclusion, as Hamou's motion was, in essence, a request for summary judgment. There is simply no way a federal district judge would summarily throw out another federal judge's findings of facts and conclusions of law without at least a hearing on the merits.
This also likely means that all Hamou is eventually going to be able to argue in person before Judge Real is why Judge Bluebond's recommendation that Hamou be jailed for criminal contempt should not be accepted.
If I were Hamou, I'd be getting more worried by the day. Fortunately, at least for her short-term peace of mind, she's probably too confused about the legal procedures involved to understand just how ominously things are shaping up for her.

But having a medical condition and having appointments with doctors are not excuses for missing court dates unless some specific and unavoidable incapacity to make it to the courtroom on a specific date occurred. Even having an MRI or some other test is no excuse, as it could have been scheduled to avoid a conflict with the court date. Courts require that their orders to appear be given precedence over other scheduled events in a litigant's life, even medical ones. If that were not the case courts would not be able to function, especially with litigants such as Hamou who bob and weave and play endless games of cat and mouse in an attempt to avoid a reckoning before a judge.

Last night I had a group of friends over, one of whom was a retired casting agent from Donna DeSeta Casting in New York. After dinner the topic turned to 9/11 and from there to the film "United 93", which is perhaps the subtlest and most quietly moving of all the films and documentaries to come out of those attacks. The retired casting agent said he had never been able to watch the flim, having been in his office in Manhattan and hearing the planes fly low overhead during the attack. But last evening he decided to join us as we watched it (some of us for the second or third time).
During the movie it crossed my mind how Oma Hamou had tried to turn that awful day into a personal publicity stunt by writing to her marketing firm on the evening of the attacks that she, too, had been on a flight from Boston to Los Angeles that day and had narrowly missed a gruesome end herself and had arrived home that day badly shaken. (Of course she was lying, as no flights made it from Boston to Los Angeles that day, due to the nationwide grounding of all flights.)
When the movie was over I told my guests about her claim. They were as angry and nauseated at her stunt as I have ever seen any of them be about anything.

This is an interesting development.
Thus far Hamou's defense against contempt of court for failing to follow Judge Bluebond's order regarding posts about Bob Atchison has been either that she was unable to remove the posts or that she is not the one who made the posts. (Of course, both claims have been proved untrue through ISP records obtained by subpoena and by Judge Bluebond herself removing in open court posts Hamou claimed could not be taken down.)
For some weeks now since starting her new blog Hamou has been moving closer and closer to the line laid out in Judge Bluebond's order about what she could and could not post. She recently began posting the same claims about Atchison that Judge Bluebond ruled were defamatory, but substituting the name of Atchison's web design company as a proxy for naming Bob himself. That alone will be sufficient to bring a new complaint of contempt before Judge Bluebond.
But today she actually posted some claims specifically prohibited by Judge Bluebond's order about Atchison by name.
We suspected she would be too crazy to contain herself. But what this means is that if, by some miracle, Judge Real were to give her any relief for what has come before, Hamou has now created NEW defamatory posts and therefore committed new offenses against Judge Bluebond's order which can become the subject of new legal proceedings against her, even if Judge Real were to reverse earlier rulings (which he almost certainly won't).
The woman's mental illnesses so overwhelm her self control or understanding of court orders that she just keeps digging herself one hole after another into which to stumble.

Once again Hamou is claiming that Judge Bluebond's rulings and orders against her are meaningless, as they were granted "by default".
For starters, Judge Bluebond didn't grant the default just because Hamou didn't show up or file appropriate papers. She actually held a hearing in which Barry Wegman, Atchison's lawyer, was required to present evidence sufficient for Judge Bluebond to conclude that there were facts to support her ruling. In fact, her order specifically referred to this.
Secondly, most of the 20 or so judgments that have been entered against Hamou were by default for the simple reason that she has no defense and opts simply to skip the trials and hope the prevailing party can't track her down or will give up on trying to collect.
Instead of actually appearing in court with all the "proof" of her position she claims she has, what she does is go on the internet with a deluge of posts about all the things she could have proven if only illnesses, beatings, family crises, papers blowing out of car windows, fainting spells, or calendar mix-ups hadn't prevented her from getting her highly-persuasive evidence before the judge.
This has been going on since the early 2000's when one victim after another went to court in futile attempts to collect debts she incurred. And what happened the few times she actually made appearances? She lost every time.
She lost the jury verdict when Bob Atchison first sued her. She lost the fraud trial when her attorney Baruch Cohen sued her. She lost the unlawful detainer Eric Cowan obtained against her after she presented a doctored check to the court. She lost the misdemeanor and felony animal abuse cases filed against her.
This is why she has spent cumulatively almost a year in jail, why she has a string of felony convictions in several states, why she has been jailed more than once for probation violations, why she has at least five evictions, and why she has over $1 mm in unpaid civil judgments against her.
Besides being a nut job, she's a career con artist who has bilked almost every one she has met, starting with her first employer whose cash register she raided as a teenager.

Courts do not accept sealed envelopes to be opened only by a judge. Court rules require that every document filed with the court be date stamped and put into the court database before being put before a judge. And certainly in an age of letter bombs and poisoned mail no court security system would allow an unopened envelope from a litigant to be delivered to a judge for him to open.
If there was even anything delivered to the court last week (and it's mysteriously missing from PACER), it was handled through regular procedures.
Normal people file papers with a court. Only someone with a histrionic personality disorder would try to create a sense of drama and gravitas (and a ham-handed one at that) around a mundane event by turning a routine court filing into "a sealed envelope to be handed to the judge on Tuesday".
Of course, she's mentally unbalanced, so there's nothing surprising here.

"Indication" means something "indicates there MIGHT be cancer". A test to see "IF" cancer is found is nothing more than that.

Debtor demonstrated repeatedly throughout the period from July 28,2015 through October 8, 2015 that she had the ability to prepare and file papers with the Court when she chose to do so.

Interesting development in federal court yesterday.
Judge Real granted Hamou's request to seal her medical records. Of course, this was expected, as Barry Wegman specifically told the court he had no objection to her request. And he said that for two reasons:
1. A medical record provided in January is not relevant to the questions that were before Judge Bluebond in October, when Hamou failed to provide sufficient proof of the need for a continuance then. And, in any case, a medical condition in October was not relevant to why Hamou had been defying Judge Bluebond's orders since April -- which was and still remains the fundamental question before the court.
2. A sealed record is unavailable only to the general public. It will be made available to a special prosecutor when one is appointed and, should it make its way back to Judge Bluebond, Barry Wegman will have access to it in order to examine and/or challenge it.
In short, there was no point in wasting legal fees on an attempt to block the sealing of a record that is not going to be dispositive in the main case and that Wegman will see in any case should the need to challenge it arise.
But more interesting is that Hamou's request to seal the medical record was just a histrionic sideshow (in that Hamou has been broadcasting her "secret" medical condition all over the internet, so this was just a melodramatic play for the court's sympathy). The larger and critical part of the motion was for Judge Real to reject Judge Bluebond's recommendation for incarceration and to quash Judge Bluebond's findings of contempt.
That part of the motion he did not grant.
Quite on point Blake. Judge Bluebond ruled TWICE that even "if" Liar Hamou had "cancer" it was beside the point and had no effect on finding Contempt Of Court as Liar Hamou demonstrated repeatedly she was "able to produce and file documents with the Court when she chose to do so. Hamou didn't WANT to face the October 8 hearing, and was trying (yet again) to claim "cancer" (for what the fifth or sixth TIME in a decade) to avoid doing so. Judge Bluebond saw through the façade, and the prosecutor will show Judge Real the same evidence proving Judge Bluebond's rulings.
There is no "do over" with Judge Real for Judge Bluebond's prior rulings. There is one question and one question ONLY in front of Judge Real; Do Judge Bluebond's Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law suffice for throwing Liar Hamou in prison for not less than 90 days for CRIMINAL Contempt Of Court? or not.
Liar Hamou can't ask Judge Real to "re try" prior final Rulings. Just like the Failed Bill of Review where she asked Judge Cooper to "retry" the original case and was told in so many words in open Court "You can't do that." and then Judge Cooper dismissed it.
Period. More LIES and more Vexatious Litigant tactics with smoke and mirrors to attempt to draw attention away from the FACT that Judge Bluebond has ruled Liar Hamou in Contempt of Court so many times now that ONLY PRISON is the sole remedy for Liar Hamous already proven Contempt of Court Orders.

Well, there you have it. Signed by Judge Real himself. He clearly understands what Judge Bluebond was trying to say. In so many words he finds Liar Hamou's attitude toward Court Orders as being "optional". His exact words find Liar Hamou engages in contemptuous conduct. A Full Criminal Investigation by the US Attorney's office of Liar Hamou has been referred.
Real didn't buy Liar Hamou's smoke and mirrors and attempts to solicit pity. He sees Liar Hamou for what she is and intends to toss her in prison, in order to "allow her to understand the gravity of her actions."

Let's say, arguendo, that Hamou actually does have melanoma of the eye as she is claiming. She somehow thought (or pretended to think) this would give her a free pass to ignore court rulings that came months before any supposed diagnosis.
Perhaps Judge Real's order today will finally disabuse her of this flaky notion.
Of course, for weeks now Hamou has been brandishing this medical condition as something she was going to prove to Judge Real once and for all with the contents of a "sealed envelope" which would be delivered to him last Tuesday and which contained information so critical, so persuasive, and so heart-rending that it should be sealed by the court from prying eyes.
Well, Judge Real has now seen this super-secret information about Hamon's medical condition that was to turn the legal riptide that is carrying her out to sea. And what was his reaction?
Well, here is what he said in today's order:
"Instead, she filed a series of unsupported motions requesting a continuance of the October 8, 2015 hearing which the Bankruptcy Court denied."
U.N.S.U.P.P.O.R.T.E.D. In other words, having seen this super-secret information that was supposedly going to clinch Hamon's argument, Judge Real agreed with Judge Bluebond that IT DID NOT SUPPORT HER MOTION FOR A CONTINUANCE OF THE AUGUST 8 HEARING.
So, all this medical record nonsense falls onto the same rubbish heap onto which have fallen her promises to have her criminal records in Utah, Wyoming, and Montana expunged; to have the judgment Hamid Refai obtained against her reversed; to have the original judgment in favor of Bob Atchison reversed; to appeal Judge Bluebond's findings of fraud, defamation, vexatious litigation, and contempt reversed on appeal; to have the FBI swoop in and shut us down . . . and so on.
As always, Hamou has come up long and loud on promises and fatally short on delivery.
I have a feeling it won't be too long before a federal marshal is holding a warrant for her arrest. Of course, she'll stay in hiding as long as she can. But once the federal marshal finds out she is under probation for a state felony conviction, all the marshal will have to do is have her probation officer summon her to his office. And if she doesn't show or the probation officer can't find her, then she will be in violation of her state parole conditions, too.
Meanwhile, I'm sure we'll be treated to a steady diet of Hamon's attempts to spin today's order: she will appeal and be vindicated; she will go to the Supreme Court if she has to; she has rights as an American citizen and an all-around good Betsy that the likes of us will never trounce; Rob Moshein hates her; she's suffering from cancer and should't be so cruelly abused by us, the courts, the police, Animal Control, people who keep sending us information about her and her doings; and all the victims of her scams who should just leave her in peace because she's having a really bad time and they shouldn't be bothering her with their problems.

Bob Atchison's Texas judgment against her has become a judgment enforceable in California state courts. Her attempt to get a restraining order against him backfired, with his being awarded costs and attorney fees for her ruse. She has been found in federal court to have committed fraud against both Atchison and her own attorney, Baruch Cohen. The judgments in favor of both men have been declared non-dischargeable through bankruptcy. Atchison will soon be taking steps to start collection of his debts, including summoning her to another debtor exam. Her attempts to avoid the first one triggered the ill-advised attempts to hide in bankruptcy court, which brought the federal courts into play in the cases arising from her scams and which have now led to her impending federal criminal prosecution.
The irony is that this final slide started with her attempts to avoid at all costs a debtor exam under oath -- an exam which can be administered to her while she is in federal prison where she cannot flee or duck.

This is a woman who has multiple recent misdemeanor and felony convictions for animal abuse and who is currently on probation on those charges. This is a woman whose residence Animal Control had to enter in HazMat suits with respirators because of the monumental filth in which dozens of dead, dying, diseased and malnourished animals were found. In fact, on the most recent raid of which we know, 97 animals -- yes, 97 -- (mostly dogs) were found in the small hovel in which she was squatting.
Among her mental disorders is animal hoarding, which has a recognized connection to the other psychopathies which plague her and with which she plagues others.

If she had not taken the bait and filed that Bill of Review in Texas at the last minute, Bob Atchison would have had trouble getting a Texas court's jurisdiction to reach her.
And if the Texas jurisdiction had not reached her, Atchison could not have so easily gotten the bench warrant for her arrest issued.
And if the bench warrant had not been issued, she would not have ducked into bankruptcy court to try to hide.
And if she had not ducked into bankruptcy court, Atchison's claims against her would have stayed in California state courts where the overload and chaos in that system would have provided her with almost endless opportunities to bob and weave to avoid a reckoning.
So for several years now Hamou has been taking one bad turn after another through the legal system, so that now ALL of Atchison's claims against her reside in FEDERAL courts where he has already prevailed in fraud, defamation, and vexatious litigation lawsuits against her and where the judges are demonstrating that they will not put up with the shenanigans she's been employing for years to jam up state court proceedings against her.
And even in federal court, she managed with her self-proclaimed keen legal skills to lurch and stumble from the civil docket to the criminal docket like a drunk sailer trying to get off the deck of a ship in a storm and instead going over the railing.

Thanks RJ! Doing ok all things considered and only one chemo infusion left before being done! The new hydration routine I started last week has made a world of difference and while I don't feel "great" I'm not so really sick as I had been.
I did Liar Hamou's family tree on Ancestry. Traced them all back to the late 1600s-early 1700, both sides, all of them. I think it might be time to go back to Judge Bluebond while things are working their way through Judge Real's docket. Hamou seems to forget that, while Judge Bluebond has no power to find criminal contempt and to jail Hamou punitively, Judge Bluebond does have the power to find further civil contempt and to jail Hamou to force compliance with the court orders.
And, since Judge Bluebond has already told Hamou that posting legal documents and rulings that contain Hamou's defamatory claims in a cutesy attempt to end-run the court's order is itself a violation of the order, I think it will be a slam dunk for Judge Bluebond to find Hamon's postings from the last couple of days a clear violation.

Unfortunately, they forgot to photoshop out the reflection of the watch in the highly-polished table at which he was sitting. It caused quite a scandal, to the point that church officials restored the watch to the photo to try to control the damage the widespread ridicule caused.
Having seen all those shots of Hamou where her outsized or undersized head is photoshopped onto the bodies of other women with shadows running in the wrong direction, one can certainly understand her being so simpatico with His Holiness. You really do have cancer, and unlike Hamou, who is faking it, you did not cover the internet with how brave you are, how much suffering you have undergone, the entire spiel of nonsense that this faker has utilized in a sorry ass effort to distract people from her crimes.

Notice how Hamou deliberately misleads with what it twats out? It somehow believes that "having medical records submitted under seal" to a court PROVES whatever is in whatever was submitted. It proves NOTHING other than something was submitted. Hamou screams about cancer daily but has yet to PROVE IT with anything.
Whatever was submitted, Judge Real looked at it and THEN ordered Hamou investigated by the DOJ for CRIMINAL CONTEMPT OF COURT after he found Hamou was STILL IN CONTEMPT by STILL REFUSING TO OBEY JUDGE BLUEBOND'S ORDER to stop defaming Bob and remove those sites still up.
