As law enforcement seems unable to assist me, and the person behind this campaign to defame me and interfere with my business and profession, she uses many alias names: Oma Hamou, Oma Mcconnell or Alexandra McConnell is what they call "judgment proof" meaning she has no money, I must place this blog here.
I would NOT even have written here, had this person not continually written her own false and defamatory statements herself and aided and abetted other personae writing "on her behalf" for the last three years. If she doesn't want me to say anything about her, she ought not have been continually blogging and writing about me much less aiding and encouraging others to do so as well.
The woman behind all of this goes by many names: Oma Hamou, Oma McConnell, Alexandra McConnell, Alexandra Hamou, Oma Demian, Alexandra Murphy, are the usual ones, but there are others. She uses a business name of "Enigma Royal Films, LLC" she also calls just "Enigma Films" and "Reseda Glass". The reason this woman and her "alleged" friends crusade to destroy me is simple. I learned about her genuine background, and she wants me silenced from speaking about it.
This woman admits that her actions are all motivated by her bitterness and hatred towards me, and this is the reason for her actions.
This woman, Oma Hamou, Oma McConnell, Alexandra McConnell, Alexandra Hamou, Oma Demian, Alexandra Murphy and her other aliases have a twenty year track record of FELONY CONVICTIONS, multiple arrests, failure to abide by the requirements of her probation for her felony convictions which lead to more arrests, many many civil judgments against her for hundreds of thousands of dollars, a history of writing bad checks, and she was arrested late in 2008 in San Bernardino California on a Felony Charge of Forgery of a Financial Instrument (she seems to have forged a large check) After 14 months of dragging the process out, she paid the Victim full restitution and the District Attorney dropped the Felony charge. She has a history of evictions and bad checks.

This was confirmed by the fact that a woman who used to live in her house wrote on the internet THREE MONTHS before the suit was filed: "I lived with this lady, she is no good. SHE LIES. SHE HAS LIKE 50 CATS LIVING WITH HER AND HER HOUSE SMELLS LIKE SHIT AND CAT SPRAY AND PISS. She is dirty, filthy and uses old men for money I SEEN IT MYSELF. By the way Hamid's wife knows it was LIPOSUCTION you drained their bank account for, not cancer in your asshole. He had her sign a promissory note, co signed by long time co-conspirator Jim Sproul. She of course never PAID back the money. She, of course, never showed up in Court.

Won a Civil Judgment against Oma Hamou for her failure to pay him consulting fees as she promised him she would do.
Mr. Atchison is proceeding with Post Judgment Document Production demands from Oma Hamou. A District Court Judge has signed an order requiring her to schedule and appear at a deposition in Austin Texas no later than September 3 to disclose her assets, finances, and employment information, and she is further ORDERED to comply by providing the requested financial, employment and asset documentation to Mr. Atchison no later than August 20. She did nothing. Her failure to do these things resulted in an order of Contempt of Court.
August 2011: Hamou/McConnell tried to derail Mr. Atchison's debt collection with a last moment filing of a "Bill of Review". Hamou's Bill of Review was dismissed on July 26, 2011 by the Hon Judge Cooper of the District Court. Hamou now has no choice but to comply with the Court order.

Homeowner in Littlerock California who was selling his house using the services of Shari Porter agent with Big Valley Realty in Palmdale California. Shari Porter brought "Alexandra Moran" using an expired drivers license in the name of Oma Hamou to Mr. O'Connor as a "Qualified Buyer" of his home. Shari Porter insisted Oma Hamou be allowed to rent part of the home as a room mate of Mr. O'Connor until the sale closed. Porter kept informing Mr. O'Connor that Hamou was pre-qualified by lenders, yet never actually provided the required documentation proving this to O'Connor. Shari Porter told O'Connor that Hamou had deposited funds into escrow at Titan Escrow in Palmdale, but again refused to give O'Connor any actual escrow documents. Hamou delayed closing for a full five months, then refused to close when O'Connor demanded. She further refused to leave the property and now squats in the residence with four men, another woman and four or five children and literally ten or twelve dogs and forty to fifty cats. She has moved an old trailer and cargo boxes onto the property as well.

2011 "Alexandra Moran" rented a room from Patrick J. O'Connor, but presented an expired California Drivers License in the name of Oma Hamou. She then claimed to want to purchase the property. She delayed the purchase for FIVE MONTHS with numerous stories, and is now squatting on the property without permission nor paying rent . She lives there with her son, Nicholas Royal Moran, who has severe psychiatric disorders (his is currently under Conservatorship pursuant to the California Lanterman Petris Short Act) and has a history of violence, both domestic and with police. Mr. O'Connor himself witnessed Nicholas Moran beat his mother in front of him in the residence. She also lives with one Steve Fred Lee, who has over 15 criminal convictions for eluding police, indecent exposure and habitual driving with a revoked drivers license. Another squatter on the property is one Michael McBride who lives with four or five of his children also on the property. Hamou also has literally many dozens of cats and more than 10 dogs on the property. Hamou attempted to keep Mr. O'Connor from evicting her by filing a Restraining Order against Mr. O'Connor alleging he made threats of violence against her and her son. However, she did NOT file this order until a full TWO WEEKS after Mr. O'Connor left the residence and moved to Alaska! Hearing on the requested Restraining order was held Friday July 15. Hamou first requested a continuance! The Judge refused to delay the hearing. After the Judge examined her criminal record, arrest record and history of evictions and Judgments, the Judge in so many words called Hamou "a Criminal and Con Artist" recognized her string of VICTIMS and refused to grant the restraining order, and further told Hamou that while he could not order her out at the moment, she did have to leave O'Connor's property and pay him the rent owed. Hamou told O'Connor by email she will be out by September 1. Mr. O'Connor's attorney has begun Eviction Proceedings against Hamou McConnell and her other squatters. While Hamou wrote Mr. O'Connor that she would be "out of the house by September 1" she has hired a lawyer to delay the eviction proceedings. Reports indicate that the house is trashed, with old furniture in the yard, many old rusted trucks, tires, boxes and piles of trash are strewn across the property. She also filed tax returns with her lender trying to get a loan to purchase the O'Connor house. Comparing the two shows glaring discrepancies and untruths.

Oma Hamou owns two business entities, Enigma Films, Inc., and The Sarskaia Foundation plus Enigma Royal Films, LLC. Further, Oma Hamou owns and operates a website at www.OmaHamou.com, where she and alleged friends post information about her. Interestingly, Ms Hamou lists her own company, Enigma Films as her employer. The clear inference is that Enigma Films earns money with which to pay her as an employee. Yet, there is no declaration or disclosure of her ownership of these companies, nor disclosure of the value of these assets she owns.
HOWEVER: Her 2010 Tax Return states that she PURCHASED "Reseda Glass" in April 2010, three full months before the Bankruptcy filing.
Notice here in her Loan Application she lists $145,000 CASH as an asset, yet, she FAILS to identify exactly WHERE that cash is.
The Refai Judgment was just the previous year, yet she FAILED to disclose that to the lender. She lists small old debts, some as long ago as ten years, BUT FAILS TO DISCLOSE A SINGLE DEBT SHE LISTS ON THE BANKRUPTCY PETITION, JUST SIX MONTHS EARLIER. Interestingly, she doesn't list a SINGLE one of the debts on her Loan Application on her Bankruptcy Petition either!see below
Hamou received in excess of $50,000 in cash from Mr. Refai in May 2009, (see above) for which she signed a promissory note. Hamou made no disclosure of the whereabouts of this large sum of cash, nor did she disclose just where this substantial asset went. She FAILED to mention it to her lender as well...
Her 2010 IRS returns show "income" of $38,000 or $2,459 per month. She claims a "sole proprietorship" called "Reseda Glass" that "installs glass in high rise buildings" but has NO Federal Employer ID number, nor does she list any WAGES paid to any "employees". Is this almost 50 year old woman hanging off the side of a building installing glass ALL BY herself?
Her 2009 IRS Return, filed the same day (April 2011) swears that she was self employed earning $2,130 per month.
HOWEVER, her Bankruptcy Petition shows she claimed to have been employed for TEN YEARS by "Enigma Films and Glass Tech" earning $3,000 per month.
HOWEVER in, her LOAN APPLICATION Section IV "Employment Information" she wrote that "Reseda Glass" at the same address as her "residence", which is just actually a mail drop at a Fedex Office store, was her employer for TWO YEARS, and she earned $2459 per month.

May 11, 2009 "Alexandra McConnell" signs a promissory note borrowing $50,000 from Hamid Refai, Mr. Refai confirms, through his attorney Thomas Ward that "Alexandra McConnell" borrowed this money to pay for "cancer treatments"
This is further confirmed by an email from a former roommate who wrote on July 8, 2009: By the way Hamid's wife knows it was LIPOSUCTION you drained their bank account for, not cancer in your asshole.
August 23, 2010 on her website: yes she is still undergoing treatment for her cancer. I can definitely attest to the fact that she has indeed suffered from cancer. Those treatments are so hard on her that I have had to help her back to the car, then into her house and even into bed because they leave her so sick and weak that she cannot do anything.
Ask yourself if the following make any, rational or reasonable common sense:
This woman claims to be an actress and model, but for a decade steadfastly REFUSES to provide one single shred of evidence to support the allegation, not even a credit, reference or magazine issue. She says only "I was and I don't have to prove it. YOU have to prove I wasn't". Does that make sense?
This woman claims that her three felony convictions were not Her fault, but rather someone else's fault. Does THAT make sense?
This woman claims that her recent Felony Forgery Charges in San Bernardino are "just a big mistake" and "law enforcement and the DA" are on "her side" and "believe her", yet they STILL pressed charges and scheduling dozens of hearings over FOURTEEN MONTHS. Does THAT make sense??
This woman has claimed for six years non stop that I am being investigated by law enforcement and the FBI. Yet, NOTHING ever happened, I have never been contacted by law enforcement for any reason in those six years other than one speeding ticket. Does it make any sense to you that law enforcement is doing ANYTHING for six years now?
Buddha said Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Let's publish the entire lawsuit so people can see what the details were. I have to admit, though, that this year finds me a bit bluer than usual. I suppose it's the advance of the years that one feels at this season, especially when one has been so far away from one's Heimat for so long.
Some dear, dear friends came by yesterday to take me out riding to see the local Christmas decorations. As they were "ooh"ing and "ahh"ing at one yard display after another, I just could not keep my mind from wandering back to the old days before ---- well, just before.
My darling old Onkel Adelherz happened to live just down the street from the Riefenstahl family in Berlin whose daughter had become quite the celebrity of a film producer. Everyone, and I mean everyone, simply could not get enough of her work.
Well, Leni always took her crews to her parents' apartment block at Christmas to spruce up the place for the holidays. And, my pets, let me tell you. That Lenchen knew from a light show!
Why, the whole street just blazed with the lights of Weihnachten. Towers of light shot into the sky, forming all sorts of wonderful sights. Loudspeakers played the sound of smart marching to all the newest Christmas carols, such as "Nikolaus, heil!" and "Nur eine kleine Waffe unterm Tannenbaum".
Why I can still see the little faces of blond children (although I could have sworn I remembered some of them as brunettes a couple of years earlier) beaming with smiles as the music built to a crescendo and the most right-thinking Nachbarn noted which parents were clapping hands most enthusiastically to the music.

And if, as you say, Patrick has been served by an Alaska law enforcement agency weeks ago, WHY is the court still waiting to hear from them?
Once again, Hamou proves she can lie even in the face of evidence she provides to the contrary.

"an Affidavit from the Alaska State Troopers Office was sent and is on file with the courts in Lancaster, California concerning the numerous times that agency went to his apartment and was told by Patrick through closed doors he refused to accept service."
Patrick told us that his only contact with the State Troopers was through a telephone call he received.
Yet Hamou keeps posting over and over that O'Connor spoke to them at his apartment numerous times "through closed doors".
But the affidavit her own lawyer provided the court PROVES O'Connor's version is the true one and that Hamou's repeated claims are lies.
Here is what the affidavit that Hamou herself posted ACTUALLY says:
"Contact was made with P. O’Connor via telephone @ 907-602-2377. He stated that he did not want to be served and was intentionally avoiding service. His statement was 'I’ve given up with her'. Four attempts were made to serve him."
The affidavit says that the Trooper spoke with O'Connor via telephone (just as Patrick says). NOWHERE does it state that a Trooper had any discussion with O'Connor through closed doors (as Hamou keeps claiming).
In any case, the court has refused to accept the affadivit as proof of service. Perhaps Hamou was stupid enough to tell the judge that made up story about conversations through closed doors.
She does like her overwrought melodramatic flourishes. Apparently multiple conversations through closed doors sounds like a real breath-holder to her.
To a sane person, it just sounds stupid. As do pretty much all her posts.
Hamou continues to demonstrate what a moron she is.

Yet Hamou continues to insist O'Connor spoke to this trooper on "numerous" occasions through "closed doors" at his residence. No such thing happened, and NOTHING the trooper provided in the affidavit or elsewhere says it did.
Hamou is engaged in sheer fabrication in a ludicrous attempt to turn up the drama.
And Hamou, no court is going to do your work for you and try to track down some information you say is out there but cannot manage to produce on your own. You have been in front of enough judges over the years to know that.

He has also provided me with a phone number which he said appears on his cell phone caller ID which he claims proves the identity of this person. The landlord only had the cell number of O'Connor's brother as an emergency contact. The trooper called that number and obtained O'Connor's number from the brother.
You have lied consistently about these supposed "numerous" conversations through closed doors.
And we apparently know quite a bit more about what transpired with the attempts to serve O'Connor than you do.

We know that your claim that proof of service on O'Connor is currently on the way from Alaska is another of your lies.
There is no proof of service, because there has been no service.
A person is not obligated to respond to a phone call from some person saying he is a state trooper to make himself available for service.
And that leaves you with something of a problem, doesn't it? The court has already rejected the first affidavit your lawyer submitted about attempted service as sufficient service. For a court permanently to restrict a person's freedom, there has to be actual service of notice of a hearing.
And you do seem to be having some difficulty there.
In fact, the affidavit your lawyer submitted contained O'Connor's statement that he is "done" with you. That's going to make a court think twice about your claim that you are under constant threat from O'Connor.

Subsequent investigation by Dunn & Bradstreet 2 weeks later revealed that YOU - Enigma Royal Films, LLC - had not been formed as a business entity until just a few weeks prior to YOUR interview with them, and they were unable to confirm that any employees at all existed for the company, much less the 100 employees YOU, Oma Hamou stated.
Also D&B reported that Enigma had not registered as a foreign limited liability company to conduct business in the State of California, the Los Angeles County Business Licensing Department records showed the required license for the company had not been obtained, the Los Angeles County Registrar/Recorders Office, on October 10, 2000, revealed no record for Enigma Royal Films LLC having registered as a fictitious name in the county.
Also, more lies you told Dunn & Bradstreet, a check with the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice on October 11, 2000 found no record of Oma Hamou as a member (as YOU had claimed in YOUR interview with D&B), on October 13, 2000 Dunn & Bradstreet were informed by the property manager of 100 Universal City Plaza Drive, Universal City, CA revealed no record of Enigma Royal Films, LLC or you, Oma Hamou, ever being in the process of leasing space at that address.

Anderson, Peggy A. Anderson and William D. Morton for collection of debt and promissory note. William D. Morton owned the residence on Mayall Street in Northridge CA where you lived at the time, Mark T. Anderson was purported to be variously either an "associate" or "employee" or "actor" at Enigma Films, Peggy A. Anderson was sister to Mark. T. Anderson.
On March 15, 2002 judgment in the American Express suit was entered against Enigma Royal Films, LLC in the amount of $73, 259.82, against Enigma Royal Films, LLC in the amount of $171,991.53, against Oma Hamou in the amount of $127,155.45, William D. Morton in the amount of $15,882.02, Mark T. Anderson in the amount of $26,685.92, and Peggy A. Anderson in the amount of $8,956.92.

The attorney who handled the case for American Express told me they conducted a debtor's exam with you and that you had no assets they could claim or seize.

Suit was filed on February 254, 2003 by NTT/Verio, Inc. in Los Angeles for breach of her contract for her failure to pay for services rendered (Los Angeles County Superior Court number BC290871and a UCC Judgment lien of $61,081.54 was filed indicating NTT/Verio, Inc. as the secured party, on June 23, 2003, with the California Secretary of State. In February-May 2002, you, Oma Hamou and Enigma Films, placed a series of ads in “Variety” Magazines. On July 3, 2003 Oma Hamou d/b/a Enigma Films was sued for $102,178.92 by Cahners Business Information, the parent company of Variety, for non-payment. This litigation was - Case number 0112486/2003 New York Superior Court, New York County.

On October 19, 2001, Boardrush LLC filed a Complaint and Summons in the Supreme Court of New York, New York County, cause number 0605021/2001, against you, Oma Hamou, for breach of your existing contract with them for your failure to pay for their services after Boardrush had in fact performed their services as contracted, for your failure to reimburse Boardrush for $26,858.00 in actual expenses they incurred on your behalf, and your failure to pay them the agreed upon non-refundable deposit of $50,000 for their services.

On your 1040 federal tax form, you formatted your remailing center mailbox address to appear as a street number followed by an apartment number, per the way the prompts on the form were laid out.

You might not want mail delivered to your home, as many of your activities require the screening function provided by a remailing center. But the U.S. Postal Service does provide mail delivery where you resided.
You were therefore required to give a residence address on your tax form instead of a mailbox number. You did not. And that is fraud.

Those three documents alone -- which we have and will use -- will be sufficient proof to any court in the land of our claims that Oma Hamou is a con artist who runs systemic frauds against multiple parties.

I posted that Hamou rented from O’Connor using the name “Alexandra Moran”, which is why O’Connor used that name in filing the Unlawful Detainer action against her.
She posted back, answering that quote thusly:
“Patrick saw the appropriate legal document that has my name on it.”
I also posted that Hamou tried to sell O’Connor’s motorcyle using the name “Alexandra McConnell”.
She posted back that she had O’Connor’s permission to sell the motorcyle, but she did not deny she used the name “Alexandra McConnell” in the transaction (which is the name she signed to the Bill of Sale we have from that attempted transaction).
So Hamou’s OWN POSTS prove she switches names at will for different purposes.
She was Alexandra Murphy when she lived with Tina Van Veen. When that name got exposed, she became Alexandra Oma McConnell when she rented from Huiku Batchelor, wrote her a forged check, and was arrested for a felony. When that name got exposed, she showed Eric Cowan an expired driver’s license in the name of Oma Hamou to move into his house but claimed she had to go by the name of Alexandra McConnell because she was being stalked. When that scam got exposed, she became Alexandra Moran to run the rental/purchase scam on O’Connor. Then when she tried to sell his motorcycle she reverted to the name Alexandra McConnell.
This has been going on at least since her tenancy more than a decade ago with Don Morton, when her real identity of Oma Hamou was discovered by Detective Sherry Stanley only as a result of a complaint of elder abuse the Morton family filed against her for denuding the old man of his assets.
Hamou posted that “receipt” from Don Morton, trying to prove what a good girl she was. (By the time he wrote that receipt, he knew her real name.) For starters, it is a highly questionable document, since the text is done in two distinctly different typefaces and the paragraph spacing indicates the document is a cut-and-paste job (as is so much of her “documentary evidence”.) However, giving Hamou the benefit of the doubt about the document’s authenticity, it actually shows that Hamou left that tenancy still owing Morton $28,000.
It also ignores the fact that Hamou used Don Morton’s name to get an American Express credit card issued in his name. This caused Don Morton to become a co-defendant in American Express’ lawsuit for several hundred thousand dollars that Hamou ran up in unpaid charges – and resulted in a judgment against both her and Morton that has never been paid. (There were other defendants in that case who managed to get themselves removed from the action when they were able to show they had no knowledge Hamou had used their names to obtain credit cards.)
As I say, we’re looking forward to putting all this in front of a judge when we explain why we say Hamou is a career con artist and a perpetual fraud.

When you post as Sandman you are constantly using legal language (presumably a tribute to your time as a clerical worker with Advanced Paralegal) and no one tells you to knock it off. Besides, what Rob told Patrick wasn't legal advice, it was common sense. It is a truth universally acknowledged that a desperate landlord in possession of a good house must be in want of a tenant.
Come what may.
Hamou, I really think you are missing the big picture here that everyone else sees.
You rented from Don Morton, and his family wound up going to the police about you.
You rented from Huiku Batchelor, and she would up going to the police about you.
You rented from Eric Cowan, and he wound up going to the police about you.
You rented from Patrick O'Connor, and he wound up going to the police about you.
And other landlords who have not gone to the police have sued you.
(And this is not to mention the dozen or so other people who have gone to the police or sued you as a result of other business transactions.)
This is not a normal outcome of most rental arrangements. The fact that it happens to you over and over and over is clear indication that you are one hellride of a tenant.

I spoke with Detective Stanley and the Mortons directly and what you have posted, Blake, is correct. Stanley told me Hamou was very crafty and there was only one signed document they could nail her on but they couldn't because of Morton's condition and it was the outside the statute of limitations. Stanley knew Hamou was a con-artist and a scammer. She was never cleared of anything, he police kept the file open hoping they could haul Hamou in at some point. Detective Stanley wanted to stop Hamou and was very sorry they couldn't arrest her.
Law enforcement is NO FRIEND of Hamou's they know her for what she is and see criminals like her all the time. All they have to do is take one look at her jail time, judgments and felony convictions for fraud.
You know it's amazing that Hamou now claims I impersonated her and uzed her cell phone to talk to Dun & Bradstreet. How insane!
Dun & Bradstreet verified that Oma Hamou herself gave them the fraudulent information. They asked that I not publish the actual report - a facsimile of the report on the web. I was, however free to report what they said about Hamou and Enigma Films; that she was a complete fraud and liar.
Oma told me she had a $66 million evergreen trust fund that paid her $3M a year. He told me from the beginning - and she published it on the web - that her film and restoration projects were fully funded. Rob and several other of my friends who met her heard he say the same thing. She told me she was given the money because her ex-husband had beaten her and his family wanted the scandal to go away. She showed me pictures. She offered to show me banking documents to prove she had the money (she held them in her hands), but I said it wasn't necessary, that I would trust her - what a huge mistake!
It was Oma Hamou that first contacted me and kept calling me until I spoke to her. She told all of this stuff about the movie project and restoring the palace and the $66million she had. I didn't believe her. Then she called me and told me that Alexandra had come to her in a dream and asked her to tell me that should trust her and support her project. Oma Hamou told me all sorts of things about me that Alexandra supposedly told her in this dream SHE HAD. Hamou had learned a lot about me and feed facts back to me in order to convince me. I thought about it and prayed as well, the next day I agreed. Big mistake.
I don't speak with Nicholas, Alexandra or any other dead Romanovs, and I never had. I made the huge mistake of telling Hamou about a funny dream I had about them years before. It was just a dream in my own head, nothing more, of course Hamou has twisted this and lied about it for years.
Nicholas and Alexandra are saints in my church and we ask them for intercession. I have never spoken with them, ever.
Hamou hired me to work on her movie at $7.000 a month. She promised to bring me $21,000 (three months in advance) when she came to Austin to do our deal. When she got here she only had $800 on her, which she gave me. She said her assistant had forgotten to bring the check to the airport and it would be Fed Exed to me on Monday. Of course it never came. There were crazy excuses. After three months I cancelled our agreement and she agreed to pay me what she owed me. She never did, despite many promises to pay. That is what I sued her for and won.
After those three months, while she was see promising to pay me, she asked and hired Pallasart to make two websites for her. I was reluctant to do them but since she was still promising to pay the money she owed me we said OK. She used an American Express card in the name of David Davidson (another card she had ordered from them for the website. He was the 'director; of her movie. He got the bill and told American Express it was unauthorized and they took the money away from our account. Hamou insisted she would talk to American Express and tell them that it was authorized or give them another card number. She told me the cards were all centrally billed to her anyway and they were not individual liability cards.
Pallasart had up until a certain date and time to get this resolved with Hamou or we would be permanently debited for the money. Hamou never took care of it. I had to catch her at a restaurant with David Davidaon and patch American Express in with her and him to get it taken care of. She never would have done it.
Pallasart built two sites for Hamou. They had nothing to do with what she owed me personally. Pallasart turned off her sites when she didn't pay her hosting invoice and all of her credit cards were declined. She then turned on me and Pallasart with a demonic fury that has never abated since that day 5 or 6 months after I met her.
I sued her for payment after I heard from someone who was working for her, Albert Timishev, in Russia that she was going around Russia telling everyone that I owed her money and that she had sued me and won a huge judgment against me. She was telling the press, government officials and PR people this story. I had to contact people she had lied to about me to tell them the true story.
Her Russian employees turned on her for nonpayment and because she did not fulfill her promises.
Her lies about me were too much so I sued her and won everything I asked for. The judge and jury heard all her crazy stories about fraud on my part - the same ones she keeps posting. They did not believe her for a moment. They decided it was Hamou who and defrauded me and gave me my full judgment.
So I have pursuing collection from Hamou for years in court and have won every time, before every judge.
It was Hamou who first attacked and lied about me, she even called Pallasart's customers. She used sock puppet characters and phony email identities from the beginning.
One other thing - in court - before the judge and jury - Hamou agreed that she had hired me for $7,000 per month but said shedidn't pay me because I didn't do any work. I had plenty of documentation to show what I did. She did not bring this up a;ll the time she was promising to pay me what she owed me.
She stiffed many of my friends as well.
Oh and I referred to Stanley as he I meant she.
As Oma Hamou knows, it was her own business manager in Russia who exposed her as far as Markel was concerned. I haven't had any contact with Markel for years - I was ashamed that I had introduced Oma to him and the horrible events that unfolded as a result.

Living in F.Igor's appartment in the NY City and using his wife Slavitza as a translator - she asked Slavitza at once to say to me that she (Oma) has sent me $100,000 but I must wait her instructions and do not take and use money without that. So it was needed to her to show Slavitza and F.Igor that she is solvent! But there were no money!!! And I to looked extremely funny asking them during several days, calling them with one question.
As I know now F.G. and Sl. are bringing an action against her, because she didn't pay for telephone bills, for being there in their appartment, and for the service, but she has been only feeding them by her conversations about the project. We know all this!

From her words I know that you had collisions with her. I'd like to obtain from you the 'inside information' on who she is and where she stands. I know that you are acquainted with her personally, and that she has brought the legal actions against you (and according to her word she won the trial).
I have heard what Russian people (whom she calls 'partners') say about her, I've made my own conclusions from my own experience, but now I'd like to find out what American (who is personally acquainted with her and did business with her) thinks about her.
The primary reason that I'm writing this letter to you is that one of Mr. Romanov's friends, the reporter for ITAR-TASS news agency (the leading Russian agency), she has organized the public relation campaign for Ms. Hamou and her projects in Russia. I didn't stop that reporter from doing this, because I didn't understand myself that parhaps we are dealing with a fraud. In fact I even gave permission to use my name as the representative of Ms. Hamou in Russia. It's a very serious matter, and it may cost me my business reputation.
As for the reporter, she has thoughtlessly and rashly put her entire career and professional reputation in the dependence of Oma's project (and she still believes that it's a good project and that we must help Ms. Hamou to do it).
So now the question for me is how to keep an honour and reputation and get out of this shit as soon as possible.
And I came to the conclusion that I need more information on Ms. Hamou, her biography and the history of her business to decide how to act.
I must tell you that during PR-campaign for Ms. Hamou very important Russian persons, leading TV channels and mass-media were enabled (fortunately, it's
just started and only one short press-release was issued so far). So if we decide to accuse Ms. Hamou of non-fulfillment of her obligations, this could be an international scandal with participation of LEADING Russian
mass-media. This will kill her reputation in Russia forever. But from the other hand, does she deserve such attention? I have not decided yet. Maybe what you can tell me will help me to make the good and only right decision.

I was just rereading the State of Montana - Board of Pardons & Parole December 1999 Parole Board and I saw where Oma Demian petitioned for Executive clemency (AO32392) for her felony convictions for issuing bad checks and it was denied.
It looks like they didn't believe her stories of being a poor beaten woman on the run from her husband either - another legal defeat for Hamou.

Hollywood strives to demolish the "black aureole of responsibility of Nikolai II for the misfortunes of Russia", with the help of a new full-length film, the Governor of the Pskov region, Eugeney Mikhailov, said to Petersburg pressmen at the press conference in the St. Petersburg regional center of ITAR-TASS.
The Governor said that the concept of the film belongs to an American of Russian origin, Ms. Om Hamou, the Chef Executive Officer of Enigma Films, a motion picture company. Ms. Hamou invited the Governor to Hollywood, on July 25, for a gala charity dinner in celebration of the company's projects in Russia and the achievements to date.
The geography of the principle photography of the film includes many Russian cities: St. Petersburg, Pushkin, Ekaterinburg, Saratov, Pskov where Nikolai II abdicated in 1917 and thus ended the 300-year hitory of the House of Romanov. Before principle photography begins Enigma plans to restore the historical monuments connected withe tragic story of the life of the last Russian Emperor. The work on these projects will take 3 years. The Governor of the Pskov region, Eugeney Mikhailov, believes. "the will be a huge historical cinema-canvas".
The film's director, David Davidson, has to coordinate and direct 130 actors, 3,000 extras and 210 crew members. The script has 50 sets in 20 locations. The Governor of the Pskov Region, expressed his support for the project, as a graduate of historical faculty of the Moscow State University, he is concerned about the dramatic pages of Russian State History, as well as because the project's initiator, Ms. Oma Hamou, aims at the historical authenticity based on the archival and authentic evidences.
She literally. "Aches" for Russia, after her visit in 2001, she became an Orthodox Chritian, created "The Sarskaia Foundation" with the aim of the rehabilitation of architectural monuments in Russia. Together with the film's director, David Davidson, she wrote the script of the future film "As A` Matter of Honour". The start of the works on the film project is scheduled as early as September.

I have been chasing her for payment ever since.... with nothing but excuses regarding health issues, etc. etc. etc. I am not only out the $9,000.00 that she owes me for my design fee but am also out cash that I have spent out of pocket for model supplies, blueprints, research costs, and $2,000.00 that I myself have paid for the assistant that she "approved" to hire. So as you see; I am out nearly $3,000.00 out of pocket as well as $9,000.00 for a design that was completed as per her approval. FYI; the "event" never took place as scheduled... due to once again "health issues" etc. But the design was completed, ready to go to the construction shop etc.
She also "scammed" Raleigh Studios of Hollywood when she placed the soundstage on "hold" for this event. Excuses after excuses prevented her from actually putting down deposit money but Raleigh Studios gave here the benefit of the doubt (as we all did) due to the health problems and Raleigh Studios held the stage for her for nearly two weeks before finally taking the hold off for the dates that she had requested. In the meantime they lost nearly $20,000.00 in rental fees that they could have had if they did NOT hold the stage for her. They were unable to rent the stage for those dates (and they turned away important clients in the meantime while she had it on hold) and consequently lost the money they would have collected from her.
I have been persistent in trying to collect my money.... but I usually get no response to my numerous phone calls and numerous emails. Then as per protocol after about two weeks I finally get a call with excuses.... health problems.... funding problems..... phone problems..... "employee" problems. etc. etc. etc. (You know the drill!)
Anyway: I thought you would be interested in hearing my "case".... to add to your list of people that Oma has scammed.

Oma co-wrote the script and will play the role of Empress Alexandra Feodorvna.
We have brought together three very removed and different worlds. Those worlds are religion, filmmaking and international development. Our journey will not neither be easy or direct, Oma said.
Her life since 14 years old has been connected to Hollywood the “factory of dreams”, and like so many around the world she doesn’t like the violence portrayed in so many films that seem to incinerate human souls and transform people into the monsters devouring them.
“I want to prove, that this project, is different. It is about real people, and real places and about a very important time in history that changed the world forever”. Here within the thrickets секвойи and the mahogany, a courageous and noble spirit has been born. “For years it has been a story that has tugged at my heart. The responsibility of making a film such as this is as daunting as it is creatively and emotionally challenging. I believe, that the time to tell this story has come. I am happy, because so many of my colleagues in Hollywood have been supportive. They believe that preserving our cultural heritage is important to all of us. It is the thread to our heritage that links us to the past, to the core of who we are so that we can better understand where we came from and where we got lost.
“I love Russia and I love Her history and I am proud to be an American of Russian ancestry. There are many rich stories waiting to be discovered in Russia and to be told”, she said to Boris Romanov, the St. Petersburg author who introduced me to her. I was curious as to why this American actress would be so interested in our culture and in restoring our cultural monuments?
I discovered that Oma’s great-great grandfather through her mother was named Ivan (John) whose Russian surname is Furmanoff, Formin or Forman. He was born in St. Petersburg and in 1916, and at the age of 5 years old arrived to America together with his parents. In the beginning of the last century it was actively accepted that emigrants from different countries, that authorities and often the emigrants themselves would change their surnames to sound more American upon entry into the United States. Oma’s ancestry also includes American Indian, German, Irish and English.
However, for the girl born to a coal miner’s family in August, 1963 in Charleston, West Virginia, Russia has for some reason been a place that she longed to know. As a child Oma never bathed in luxury, as there was 6 children and at the age of 14 she decided to forge her own destiny. She traveled to Hollywood and succeeded: today she is not only an actress and a model but has written several novels, “Thunderstar”, “Teach Me How To Cry”, Shanty Town” and “As A Matter of Honour”.
She has counseled abused women and has provided legal assistance to a variety of charitable organizations. She has worked with abused and orphaned children, the blind, the homeless and the Native American Culture.
Inspired by the words of Martin Luther King Jr., “To serve…you only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love”. She believe that the “capacity for courage is within us all, and there are no greater heroes that those who serve others.”
Two years ago she fulfilled one of her dreams by traveling to Russia. In Tzarskoye Selo she accepted Orthodoxy inside of Fedorovsky Cathedral. After I became acquainted with her, and as a historian in education, I was shocked to learn the depth of her knowledge in Russian history and her religious convictions to Saint Serafim Sarovsky and to John Kronstadtsky, which evoked in me feelings of respect. I recall, with what emotional rise when she told me how she felt being inside of the cave temple of Fedorovsky Cathedral, sacred and a place where she felt safe and protected.
This temple was constructed in 1909-1914 and is one of the large representatives neorussian style created by the architect-academician Vladimir Pokrovskim who took samples of the Blagoveshchensk Cathedral in Moscow- the Church of the dynasty of the Romanovs. The main throne room was consecrated on August 20, 1912 in the presence of Emperor Nicholas II, in honour of the family relic of the House of Romanovs wonder-working Feodorovskaya Icons Bojiey of Mother. (I would like to note that the name first of a sort Romanovs-Fyodor was received with patronymics overseas wives of the Russian Tsars).
During the construction of the temple Nicholas II often walked by foot without his bodyguards. After the consecration of the temple and the beginning of the divine services, Nicholas and his family broke with tradition and prayed inside of the Fedorovsky Cathedral together with mere mortals.
After Oma’s arrival in Russia two years ago she began to participate in the restoration of the cathedral by giving large sums of money and because of her efforts has restored a large portion of the Cathedral. She also negotiated with Italian masters about the reconstruction of the Cathedral’s Florentine mosaics that were lost during the Soviet time. The Cathedral is one of three large restoration objects that are included in her project, also included is the Fedorovsky Little Town and the Alexander Palace. These two architectural masterpieces deserve separate comments.
New Tzarskoselsky (Alexander) Palace was Ekaterina’s wedding gift to her first and favorite Grandson, the Grand Duke Alexander Pavolvich, future Emperor Alexander I. The Great Italian architect Dzhakomo Kvarengi designed it and completed it within four years. June 12, 1796 the Grand Duke Alexander Pavolvich and his wife, Elizaveta Alekseevna was driven to the Palace. Since then it was a favorite home of many members of the Imperial Family. In 1868 Nicholas II was born inside of the Palace and after the revolution of 1905 the Russian Emperor declared that the Alexander Palace was his permanent resident. He accepted ambassadors and other foreign dignitaries and celebrated the 300- anniversary of the House of Romanovs.
After the revolution the Palace became the State Museum, then a rest home of employees NKVD, children’s home called the Young Kommunars. Within the great domestic war grasping the city of Pushkin, the Nazi’s placed its staff and the Gestapo inside of the palace and turned the palace Cellars into prisons. After the war and suffering some damage the Palace was uninhibited. In 1946 it was handed to the Academy of Sciences of the USSR for Storages of collections of Institute of the Russian literature (Pushkin’s House). In 1951 it was given to the Naval department, which still occupies it today.
In the right wing of the palace the exhibition “Memoirs about the Alexander Palace” works exist. Oma’s company Enigma Films gave money towards the dismantling of the equipment and works inside of the Formal Suite of Rooms for her film project, “As A Matter of Honour”. The Palace and its appearance bear eloquent testimony today to the necessity of serious restoration works.
In the northern part of the Alexander Palace under Nicholas II instruction the Fedorovsky Little Town was constructed. The 300 – anniversary of the House of Romanovs, Emperor Nicholas II, felt that the Little Town symbolized internal integrity, the states and architectural unity of the Russian cities. The Fedorovsky Little Town became the Tsar’s legacy, as it embodied the image of the Fatherland.
Nicholas II gave this project to one of the St. Petersburg’s famous architect’s, Stephan Krechinsky. He created many of St. Petersburg masterpieces that included mosques, house Bukhara Emirs. The architect took examples from the Imperial Palace situated near Moscow village Kolomna.

The Fedorovsky Little Town consist of separate buildings, their plastic riches and a variety of external kriltzos and transitions, tents above towers, entrance gates with Whitestone groove. The decorum theme was consistent with the ancient cities in the traditions of Russian art and statehood: Novgorod, Pskov, Vladimir, Suzdal, Rostov and Moscow.
The Little Town was constructed in 1913-1917 for the priests of the Fedorovsky Cathedral, however, members of “the Society of the Revival of Art in Russia”, Nikolay Rerikh, Victor Vasnetsov, Ilya Repin convinced the Emperor to open a museum within the complex. This museum of Old Russian art and architecture, which the Emperor also agreed, was important. But shortly thereafter World War I began and the Little Town became a military hospital under the patronage of the Imperial Family. Medbrover here Sergey Esenin served.
When I arrived at the Fedorovsky Little Town to take photos for this article, I was amazed to see Esenin’s tower, the place where the poet, Sergey Esenin lived, this building has no roof. It seemed to suffer more than t
Oma Hamou told me that when she first saw this tower she was also shocked. She climbed the tower’s stairs and sat on the ruins and looked out and saw what remained of the masterpieces of medieval Russia. She told me that as she sat there, and stared through the roof and saw the dome of the Fedorovsky Cathedral that this was where she thought of the design of her project by combining both the film project with the restoration of these historical monuments.
Oma is the President of both “Enigma Films” and the preservation of cultural heritage foundation the "Sarskaia" foundation, through which the restoration works will be financed. Funds for the restoration efforts have been appropriated from the film’s production budget through the “Sarskaia Foundation”.
Amongst the support from the different Government organizations from both America and Russia, Ms. Oma Hamou has also sought the advice and assistance from Development Financial Institutions such as the World Bank, Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and other nonprofit Foundations.
Funds for the restoration efforts have been appropriated from the film’s production budget through the “Sarskaia Foundation”. Through The Sarskaia Foundation’s efforts, additional funds have been raised through corporate sponsors and US government grants.
No matter how difficult the challenges have been the objective is the economic and social development of the St. Petersburg region. It is about creating jobs and improving the lives of the community. It has always been this and will remain.
Oma is a partner with the State Museum Preserve and the Russian Orthodox Church in connection to the restoration and film project of “As A Matter of Honour”. Both Enigma and Sarskaia are also members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pushkin and Pavlosk.
The Moscow Patriarchate office sent their letter of support for the projects and promised to help reach “…good aims announced to the best of Her ability. The renewal of national self-awareness in modern Russia is inseparably connected with the renewal of the Orthodox outlook and traditions of pre-revolutionary Imperial Russia”. Recently the Governors of the Pskov and Sverdlovskaya Region Eugeny E. Mikhailov and Eduard Rossell declared their support of Enigma’s project.
The Sverdlovsk Governor who among many Russian politicians has received a letter regarding the project, has publicly declared his readiness to help. July, 16, 2003 by the News agency " Orange " from the Uralsk region said that “ Now the letter from the film-company “Enigma Films” is being considered within the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk region where all matters will be decided as well as promoting the film’s actual production.
On July 25, 2003, in Malibu, picturesque northwest suburb of Los Angeles on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, where in Malibu, it is possible to meet Hollywood celebrities, a dinner party took place to celebrate the beginning of the realization of a new film-project "As a Matter of Honour." On the eve of this solemn dinner affair, Ms. Oma Hamou received kind wishes from the White House.
Because of the recent regulations concerning US Visas representatives from Russia, including myself and other journalists could not attend the dinner but we did send our greetings. We told Ms. Hamou to remember and to remain true to her goals. To recall these words from the writer, philosopher and Emperor of Rome, Mark Avrely named as the basic advantages of the czars and that is: “Wisdom, Justice, Firmness and Moderation”.
The dinner was served in accordance to Russian tradition and consisted of dishes from the Russian kitchen of the end XIX of the beginning of XX century: Aubergine “Cavial” Blinis, Roasted Walnut and Roquefort Cheese Canape, Baked Chicken Pirozhki, Grilled Baby Rack Of Lamb Chops with Fresh Mint Chutney and Wasabi, Baby New Red Potatoes with Crème Fraiche and Beluga Caviar, Saute of Wild Mushrooms, Vodka, Cabernet, Balsamic Grilled Asparagus. The desert consisted of a cake and ice cream with berries, fruit and chocolate.
Originally, the plans were to construct the semicircular hall of the Alexander Palace but because time was of the essence Oma thought that the evening should reflect simplicity and values on art restoration and the preservation of cultural heritage, this message was more important.
Addressing her visitors, Oma said:
"As A Matter of Honour" is the true history of Imperial Russia through the eyes of Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. Thought provoking and powerful, it tells the story of a great nation, it's eloquent traditions and its leading family, whose fingerprints were almost erased. Russia's fabric is woven into a beautiful multi-colored tapestry that is rich in its heritage, its traditions and in its people as a nation. The people are just like you and I, they work hard and they want the best for their children, for their future. I love Russia and I love Her history and I am proud to be an American of Russian ancestry. There are many rich stories waiting to be discovered in Russia and to be told”.
“Though the relationship between Nicholas II and Alexandra has often been the subject of books and films, none of these stories drew the information from the individuals themselves. The film is based upon the actual diaries, letters and court affidavits of the related events. It tells their story of hope, fear and courage in the midst of explosive events that led up to their final days and the beginning of one of the darkest chapters in human history”.
The filming of the movie, "As A Matter of Honour," will take approximately 72 weeks, which includes restoring these historical monuments, principal filming, editing and post-production 80% of the film will be filmed on location in Russia in the cities of Tzarskoye Selo, St. Petersburg, Pskov, Moscow, Sarov, Ekaterinburg and other places. David Davidson, the film's director has to coordinate and direct an extremely large number of people.
Representing the Russian project to the Hollywood community and to the general public Oma has proven that the two enormous powers of the World - Russia and America, - whose destinies were more than once bound in history, should move towards each other in protecting the cultural and historical heritage and enrich each other in this sphere.
The Alexander Palace, the Fedorovsky Cathedral, the Fedorovsky Little Town, the Alexander Nevsky Lavra and their unusual fate can be cited for all dimensions. Their restoration has a significance that not only reaches far back into history but also points to a new future. The fact that Russians and Americans are now rebuilding several of its historical treasures certainly lays a new foundation today.
"Russia's fabric is woven into a beautiful multicolored tapestry that is rich in its heritage, its traditions and in its people as a nation. The people are just like you and I, they work hard and they want the best for their children, for their future," Oma said.
Oma’s feelings are sincere and she is not under any delusions about the realistic problems facing the project. She has turned obstacles into opportunities but more importantly she places her trusts in her faith in God. She also trusts her partnerships with the various entities and in the success of the final outcome of the project.

American actress takes a starring role in Russian historical preservation and reveals the untold story of the Romanov family.
How did a coal-miner's daughter come to address the second U.S.-Russian Energy Summit in St. Petersburg alongside high-ranking officials from both governments and pour new life and much-needed funding into the restoration of some of Russia's most precious architectural treasures while bringing new light to the history of Russia's Imperial family?
The fascinating story of Oma Hamou, actress, model, author, and entrepreneur, begins in Charleston, West Virginia. Raised by an abusive father, Oma decided to run away from home with nothing more than a baby doll, two changes of clothes, and what little money she could scrape together stuffed into a paper bag, she boarded a Greyhound bus and headed to California-the farthest point from where she could find on the map.
She eventually landed in Hollywood, where she modeled and acted in television dramas such as Little House on the Prairie, Night Shift and Fame. In her spare time, she provided counseling and support to abused women and children, using her own painful experiences to help others.
Revealing a New Page in History
Curious about her family's Russian heritage, Oma read The Last Tsar: The Life and Death of Nicholas II by Edvard Radzinskii, after which she became intrigued by Czar Nicholas II and his family. Her curiosity led her to research actual diaries, letters, and court affidavits of the time, and she discovered many inaccuracies in the story of the Romanovs, as we know it today.
Wanting to correct the misinformation, she wrote a book, As a Matter of Honour, revealing this never-before-told story from the Romanovs' point of view. To bring the story to a wider audience, she adapted her novel to a screenplay, planning a film of epic proportions.
"This film is my Schindler's List," said Oma through her spokeswoman, Stacey Hamilton. "The murder of the Imperial family was the beginning of a Russian holocaust against their own people that many Americans are not aware of. It changed the course of history, and I need to tell this story."
While casting has not yet begun, Oma would like to see John Malkovich in the role of Nicholas II, and Elizabeth Taylor as Queen Victoria. Oma herself will play Alexandra Feodorvna.
The Sarskaia Foundation Is Born
While scouting locations in Russia for filming As a Matter of Honour, Oma was saddened by the state of disrepair of Russia's beautiful, historic landmarks including the Alexander Palace, the Fedorovsky Cathedral, and the Fedorovsky Little Town in Pushkin, and the Alexander Nevsky Lavra in St. Petersburg. Wanting to help restore these valuable treasures, Oma founded the Sarskaia Foundation to raise money for this project and pump new life into the local economy by creating jobs and increasing tourism to the area. The restoration has already begun, and Oma endeared herself to the locals by bringing computers and medicine to the area and by formally embracing the Russian Orthodox religion in Fedorovsky Cathedral. Oma plans to shoot 80 percent of As a Matter of Honour on location in Russia, including footage of the renovated landmarks, which will bring further attention to her cause.
Oma Hamou's timing could not be more perfect. At a time when the United States and Russia are striving to strengthen their ties, Oma Hamou and her Sarskaia Foundation are poised to help strengthen those ties with this unique Russian-American partnership.

It is a pleasure and honor to be amongst such distinguished guests. Although I am not an expert in the field of technology we do share a common thread that links us together. All of us share the desire to strengthen ties between both Russia and America, especially in the private sector.
A collaborative approach to this effort is critical to meet the challenges to community life in the 21st century. This approach combines courage, integrity, intelligence, creativity, energy and the ability to think outside of the box. Knowledge in particular, science and technology plays a critical role in promoting economic growth and social progress.
In this diplomacy of goodwill, as President of Enigma Films and Chairman of The Sarskaia Foundation, I am proud of what my company has created. The social fabric of Russia is woven into a beautiful multicolored tapestry that is rich in its heritage. Enigma is re-creating the milieu and events of an important chapter in Russian history, the reign of the last Russian Czar Nicholas II and his wife, Czarina Alexandra Feodorvna both literally— by restoring historic monuments— and figuratively—by producing a feature film devoted to this important historical era.
Russia has many beautiful architectural monuments, the Alexander Nevsky Lavra is one of the first architectural ensemble built in Russia, the Alexander Palace was a wedding present given to Alexander I by Empress Catherine II and was the home of the last Czar of Russia Nicholas II and his family, the Fedorovsky Cathedral was built by both Czar Nicholas II and the Czarina Alexandra Feodorvna, the Fedorovsky Little Town was constructed to the specification of Czar Nicholas II not only to commemorate the celebration of the 300 anniversary of the House of Romanov but to symbolize unity of the country. By restoring the Alexander Palace, the Fedorovsky Cathedral, the Fedorovsky Little Town, and the Alexander Nevsky Lavra enriches not only our film project but also the world at large.
Historic preservation is expensive and risky. Even ordinary rehabilitation is subject to high costs and uncertain returns. This is why Enigma’s project takes a creative approach in the rehabilitation of these buildings that play an important role in the cultural patrimony of the Russian people. This approach should be viewed as an opportunity to stimulate tourism and commercial activity that will provide income to the local economies. Increased economic activity will stimulate the different economic market sectors and provide the means and incentive for increased investments.
This is what happened in Prague. They cooperated, and now they reap the rewards of tremendous U.S. film production and the millions of US dollars it brings into their country each year. Canada benefits from its economic programs and has more than a hundred US movies made there each year, bringing hundreds of millions of US dollars into their economy.
Given the scope of restoration, construction and film production work, Enigma will have to rely heavily on a stable and consistent supply of electric and heating utilities. What is even more important that once restored all historical sites, museums and treasures would have to be maintained in an environment where humidity and temperature is easily adjustable and controlled. To solve the problem of electricity supply for its restoration and film production activities, as well as future maintenance of the restored treasures, through Sarskaia, Enigma has decided to import and install fuel cell technologies that have been successfully implemented around the world.
The area to be showcased in the film is clearly a viable tourism destination.The city Tsarskoe Selo is already one of Russia’s most popular tourist attractions, and the Catherine Palace is the centerpiece of the extensive park complex, surrounded by ponds, canals and shaded paths open to the public.
What we are doing is more than simply making a film we are rehabilitating a city’s historic core while creating jobs and opportunities. Through Enigma’s one project, the renovations, film production and ensuing tourism increases will combine to produce a total impact of $614 million on the Russian GDP- the majority of which will accrue to the geographic area of the film. Based on these GDP calculations, the project will generate 188,000 jobs through 2007 on an annual full-time equivalent basis.
Our commitment doesn’t stop there, but continues. The maintenance of the properties will be funded in perpetuity based on 5% of all profits to the project, which will be managed through The Sarskaia Foundation. This is estimated at $6.2 million from the period 2002-07.
These monuments and their unusual fate can be cited for all dimensions. Their restoration has a significance that not only reaches far back into history but also points to a new future. The fact that Russians and Americans are now rebuilding several of its historical treasures certainly lays a new foundation today.

Sarskaia's projects are unique and inspiring. Although Sarskaia was essentially born from Enigma Films film project, "As A Matter of Honour", it does not solicit money via the Internet or any other source to fund Enigma's film project. Enigma's film is fully funded.
As you know Enigma's film could be made on a Hollywood studio back lot and therefore, avoid the expense and time of reconstructing the actual Russian buildings and monuments of the Imperial Family. Although this is true, there is a certain sense of reality and spirituality that would no doubt be lost forever on the film if this were done. The fact is, just being in Russia at the actual place where the events of our story takes place is inspiring. To imagine a façade being created in a computer by a special effects person is counterproductive to what we are trying to achieve.
The Sarskaia Foundation is a separate entity, dedicated towards the preservation of cultural monuments in Russia. Before I traveled to Russia in 2001 I was told that I would never be allowed to restore these historical monuments because the government officials wouldn't allow it. I traveled to Russia alone and discovered that many things represented to me were not true or at least I did not experience or see the Russia that was described to me by others. And we began the historic restoration on these historical monuments.
The development journey of this project has been intense and has been neither easy nor straightforward. This is understandable, because it is always more difficult to create than to destroy. But no matter how difficult our work has been, it is a noble and much needed undertaking and represents how the process of the preservation of historical preservation will benefit our two nations and our people. A central concern and conundrum we face: the challenge of communicating ideas that are truly complex even as they are simple, that have multiple layers and many facets: a multitude of pieces in the rich kaleidoscope. Both the American and Russian government recognizes the potential economic impact of Enigma's project that is estimated to gross $614 million USD on the Russian GDP and create 188,000 jobs over a five (5) year period while rehabilitating a city's historic core.
As a man of vision and courage President Putin has successfully supported and implimented the rehabilitation of many of Russia's historical monuments. The Alexander Palace, the Church monuments and their unusual fate can be cited for all dimensions. Consequently, their restoration has a significance that not only reaches far back into history but also points to a new future. Rehabilitating the city's historic core can be seen as a large joint venture. Nobody will forget that the Alexander Palace was the last residence of Russia's last Emperor, Nicholas II and his family. But the fact that Russians and Americans are now rebuilding several of its historical treasures certainly lays a new foundation today.
Because of President Putin's vision for Russia, we have discovered that it is possible to overcome stereotypes, it is possible to put aside for a moment the views that civil society may have of government organizations or of institutions or of the private sector, it is possible to bring groups together in a shared objective, which is an objective that needs to be set, but which is clearly understood. I believe, that the objective is to indicate, from group to group, in the meetings, between government, civil society and the private sector, that there are differences of opinion, while there are points of view that may remain critical. There are actors, critics, and people who have their own objectives, nonetheless, it is crucial that each recognize that we need a sincere effort from everybody to try and bring about a consensus, a motive and driving force in the society to bring about equity and growth.
As an American Russian it is a tremendous privilege and honor to live in a country that encourages my creativity. It is also an honor and privilege to work together with both my American and Russian colleagues in this most fascinating and historical project. It is also an honor and privilege to work with the Russian Orthodox Church where the Moscow Patriarchate His Holiness Patriarch Alexi II has carried the message of the Gospel into the third millennium, with courage and with confidence. I would like to specifically thank both the American government and the Russian government, for their encouragement to the Sarskaia Foundation.

I am reminded of my son's childhood fairy tale novel of the "Little Engine That Could," the story of a small train engine that took on a job that all the big engines turned down because it was too difficult. I'm sure you have heard this story of the little engine that pulled a large train up a steep hill and was running out of steam but kept the momentum by his faith and finally succeeded. During the development journey of this project I have felt like this little engine. It has been at times most difficult and yet, it has been worth it. For what started out as simply a desire to restore a few rooms inside of these historical monuments for a film project developed into something much deeper and more meaningful.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA., Dec. 22.--The Sarskaia Foundation announced it has retained TransMedia Group to make its much-admired program of restoring and preserving the cultural heritage of Imperial Russia more widely known and appreciated worldwide.
The Foundation is financing the restoration of many of the most historic monuments in Saint Petersburg, Russia built during the reign of Tsar Nicholas II.
With support from individuals and corporations, plus organizations such as the World Bank and Overseas Private Investment Corporation, Sarskaia currently has projects underway to preserve and maintain such architectural icons as Alexander Palace, Fedorovsky Cathedral, the Fedorovsky Little Town, the Alexander Nevsky Lavra and the Gatchina Palace.
Following her participation in the recent US-Russian Energy Summit in St. Petersburg, filmmaker and Sarskaia's President Oma Hamou took part in the Entrepreneurship Forum in Moscow, where she reported on the Economic Revitalization of the city of Pushkin's historic core, where her Foundation is credited with having a major impact on preserving its most revered architectural treasures.
Ms. Hamou is also the President of Enigma Films, which is in pre-production on "As a Matter of Honour," a feature film slated for theatrical release in 2005 depicting the romantic time and charismatic characters of Imperial Russia. Part of the proceeds from the film will benefit the continued maintenance of the preserved historic sites in St. Petersburg.
Ms. Hamou said she is gratified to have received praise and encouragement for her preservation work from the U.S. and Russian Governments, including the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, as well as from Russian Orthodox Church leaders, including His Holiness Patriarch Alexi II of Moscow and All Russia and His Eminence the Blessed Metropolitan Vladimir/Metropolitan of Saint Petersburg and The Ladoga Region.
"By rehabilitating Pushkin's historic core in Saint Petersburg, we unlock the bright future that Russia holds by illuminating its brilliant past," Ms. Hamou said. "In the process of preserving Russia's magnificent monuments, we deepen the friendship and mutual respect between two great powers, which in turn benefits the entire world."

For Oma Hamou, life is the greatest adventure on earth. Nothing she ever attempts in the movies will be as intense or as important as the events that have marked her life.
"It's been a very tough but very enlightening year for me," she says. "But life has never been easy for me. It always goes in these big waves, up and down, and sometimes it's difficult to stay afloat. I love my life now, though. I have a very positive sense of who I am and the direction my life is headed in."
The actress's bold personality and eccentric lifestyle are a riveting blend of extremes that challenge every notion of type. Oma is edgy and unusual, but she is also open, honest and hardworking. She can be whimsical and worldly and wise. Oma, an undeniably beautiful woman, remains both honest and true to herself while managing to be accepted and embraced for her individuality.

Did that worry you?
"It worried me, not for me - because I really don't care what people say about me - but I wanted to make sure that both the U.S. and Russian government and the Russian Orthodox Church even in a silly way, understood that there was a perception, maybe a negative one, about me. And instead of worrying about it, they were sorry that I had to go through that. It was so outside all the negative things that were being said about me, they just knew me as someone that worked hard. They were very kind to me. I really worked hard to prove that Enigma and Sarskaia's projects could work. I went to Russia looking to do something good, and I did something that everyone said that I couldn't. But I did and along the way it changed me. It made me a better person."
Establishing a reputation of a person who's not afraid of anything, Oma has often been drawn to the riskier and more daring challenges that other people would shy away from, the latest of which has also changed her personally, sending her down a new life path.
Reading Edward Radzinky's book, "The Last Tzar", changed her life. The actress admits that it may seem unusual to have a book affect you in such a passionate way that it sends you off in another life direction, but she also admits she can't picture her life any other way now.
"I think that whether it's a book or something else, everyone has probably had that moment. Whether you read a book that did something to you, or traveled somewhere, or met that person", she explains. "Whatever it is, it affects you, and you choose to take it as a path in your life".
"I didn't expect it when I read Mr. Radzinky's novel. I was moved by it, but I didn't understand why or what that meant. Then I found myself traveling to Russia, and it changed my life forever.

A St. Petersburg scholar, reminded us that we are all clothed in the "single garment of destiny" and we cannot waver in our joint campaign to defeat terrorism. The children of Osettia need our help to rebuild their school. They need medicines and school supplies but more than this they need to know that we care and we won't forget!
"One for All and All for One's" goal is to provide every child in Osettia with basic educational tools and supplies. Through a collaborative effort Sarskaia will send 5,000 Backpack Kits to the children of Osettia on September 14th, 2004. These Backpack Kits will contain basic, badly-needed items that can make a world of difference to a child heading to school.

Nitzi is excited this morning. She and Christina Riley went to journalism school together, and they used to share a flat until she found out that Oma had gone behind Nitzi's back and hired Christina to write her publicity. The last Nitzi heard from Christi, she had been admitted to a hatch outside of L.A. suffering from delusions of grandeur and narcissistic personality disorder. Mitzi flies out tonight to New York and from there back to Israel. It's been such a lovely time, having the three Kedem sisters together. And while we enjoyed the shopping, the restaurants and just the general ambience of Los Angeles very much, I think what we had the most fun doing was driving slowly past the house in Littlerock, goggling at the sheer level of slovenliness of it all. Fascinating to watch her meltdown, especially since we have seen it before. It is always a sign of desperation when she simply knee-jerk denies things, as though her statement that something is not true carries any weight at all. I assume that this bout of desperation is brought on by the fact that she no longer has an attorney working on the attempt to dodge discovery in Texas, or the fact that her neighbors have turned against her, Steve Lee has left the premises, and there isn't any money. I suppose she spent the advance for And Then They Googled My Name, or as it is also known, Oma Hamou's Rap Sheet.

Should the house eventually sell for less than the balance of the liens on it, O'Connor can still be held liable for those debts. They give Hamou no right whatsoever to sling her sorry ass onto a couch there and camp out for free as a piggybacker onto O'Connor's debt.
