When one uses a search engine online using my name, and my trade name, The Austin Wine Guy, one finds scurrilous, defamatory and simply out right lies on the Internet results.
As law enforcement seems unable to assist me, and the person behind this campaign to defame me and interfere with my business and profession is what they call "judgment proof" meaning she has no money, I must place this blog here.
The woman behind all of this goes by many names: Oma Hamou, Oma McConnell, Alexandra McConnell, Alexandra Hamou, Oma Demian, Alexandra Murphy, are the usual ones, but there are others.
This woman, Oma Hamou, Oma McConnell, Alexandra McConnell, Alexandra Hamou, Oma Demian, Alexandra Murphy and her other aliases have a twenty year track record of FELONY CONVICTIONS, multiple arrests, failure to abide by the requirements of her probation for her felony convictions which lead to more arrests, many many civil judgments against her for hundreds of thousands of dollars, a history of writing bad checks, and currently she was arrested late in 2008 in San Bernardino California on a Felony Charge of Forgery of a Financial Instrument (she seems to have forged a large check) and is currently out of custody on bail and faces the Preliminary Hearing phase of her Criminal Trial proceedings on September 10, 2009.

She is nearly psychotic in this compulsion because I stumbled onto the actual facts of her past, and present, which do not coincide with the personae she wants to project to others.
This woman, Oma Hamou, Oma McConnell, Alexandra McConnell, Alexandra Hamou, Oma Demian, Alexandra Murphy et al, has for YEARS now, threatened me with civil and criminal actions. For years now, NOTHING has happened except more ongoing threats online.

Oma Hamou aka Alexandra McConnell aka Alexandra Murphy, using the alias "Justin Edwards" recently posted a letter she purported to be written by author Penny Wilson. It is undated and shows no provenance, merely text. The context dates it to the time I still owned my wine shop, placing it circa 2002-3. I will not repeat the contents here as they are defamatory per se and scurrilous rumor about both me and Bob Atchison. I asked Penny Wilson about the letter and here is the respose:

Malta was fabulous, although the whole place could benefit from a close encounter with a mop and a broom if you know what I mean, and I know you do. Nitzi and Bitsy met up with me and we had a wonderful time on the beach. For we week we just baked in the sun and didn't think about anything at all to do with cat killers and lawsuits. So what happens while we are gone?
Omele has finished work on a movie! She's a mogul all of a sudden! I'm so impressed! Who knew that all of this time she was writing away? I mean, think about it. Given the amount of time she spends on the internet writing those posts that are twice as long as Das Kapital but only half as funny, who knew that she could dash off a screenplay on the side? And for a major studio yet! I have to tell you, just between us, Nitzi is a little crushed. She is still plugging away on the revised draft of A Matter of Forgery after Mr. Speilburg rejected the initial script. Poor girl, it wasn't her fault; she just put down the whole story of You-Know-Who and her exciting life, and darling Stephen was like, "Nitzi, sweetness, who is gonna believe this? I mean, we're not making E.T. 2 here."
So, Omele, don't be a tease. What's the movie about? Are you going to star in it? Nitzi is trying to cast the role in hers with someone who can bring that serious artist combined with fashion model looks combined with business woman, topped off with Friend of Putin influence and she's come up with Kathy Bates. Thanks for the email asking what Oma and the alternates were "blathering about". If you recall, several months ago, I wrote here about how a Collection Agency in the LA area was google searching for Oma Hamou when I saw them hit the images I have online. I called them. They asked ME what information I had about her and I told them, all essentially the same stuff that is already on the web. Now they did ask specifically if I had her address. I said I had "an" address in Montclair that Google returned as belonging to "Alexandra Murphy" her alias for the utilities, and gave them THAT address, so IF she is screaming that I gave them OMA's address, well that is just confirmation that she is lying again about Montclair...
I also asked them if they wanted to take Bob's judgment against her and collect on it. They were VERY interested and said once they collect the money Rabany is owed (their client) they would take on Bob's. I did explain that I used to practice in California, but was now retired and living in Texas. What shocked me was how little the guy on the phone knew about debt collection in California. He didn't even realize that they had every right to attach every penny unspent of Oma Hamou's retainer still in Brian's client trust account and that they can serve HIM with the ORAP. I guess they finally got around to all that, which is why she is using the "others" to start screaming again.
IF Oma is really so glad to be repaying all of her many creditors, she should be GLAD they contacted her so she can clear this one up too. The fact she is SCREAMING about how awful it is tell the real truth.

Oh, my dears. I am just on tenterhooks, tenterhooks I tell you. I have been off tending to family affairs for several weeks, and I come back to find so very much has happened.
Poor Mrs. Batchelor has been raked over the coals of Ms. Hamou/McConnell/Murphy's righteous indignation at being expected to write a good check. One of the Justins has completed a wonderful movie script that will no doubt soon grace the silver screen and the lips of a constellation of stars. The Kedems had a simply fabulous vacation with lots of family catch-up time. And Felix Lickballs has found something else to occupy his attention (although Mewlie Fishbreath seems something short of pleased).
Oh, and yes -- Ms. Hamou is in court today, perhaps finally putting all this bit of felony nastiness behind her. Or perhaps not.
One can barely wait to log onto the San Bernardino court website tomorrow. Dears, did you know that San Bernardino County has the largest land area of any county in the U.S. at something over 3 million acres? Such a romp for the horses. And such a setting for all the astonishing architecture Ms. Hamou/McConnell/Murphy has pointed out to us here and elsewhere: her lawyer's impressive offices, her own sprawling and stunningly-decorated abode.

It appears that Ms. Hamou/McConnell/Murphy's felony case was not resolved yesterday. Her lawyer's request for yet another continuance was granted, a pre-preliminary hearing was set for September 29, and a preliminary hearing was set for October 1. My goodness me. Does this mean this case is actually going to proceed to trial?
If I am counting correctly, it appears that -- besides the time she spent in jail trying to get her $1 million bail reduced -- Ms. Hamou/McConnell/Murphy has appeared in court TEN times so far in this matter. Can you just imagine the stress that would put on one's wardrobe, dears? Even a bon vivant such as Ms. Hamou/McConnell/Murphy must find the costuming burden a real cross to bear. Thank goodness she has acres of well-stocked closets in her sprawling abode equipped to handle the load. And a maid to maintain them.
Well well. It seems there is NO MENTION of the previous "civil compromise" in the minutes of yesterday's pre-trial trial ready conference. Only that YET AGAIN Oma/Alexandra's lawyer Brian asked for yet ANOTHER continuance...
Now, they already got SIX WEEKS for the "possible" civil compromise as indicated in the minutes. So, that appears to mean that the civil compromise is not happening, let's face it, if it hasn't happened already, it won't happen at all (ie: Oma/Alexandra couldn't come up the CASH, for IF she did have the money, the compromise would have gone ahead).
Further, there was a Discovery Review indicated in the minutes. This means that both sides reviewed the stuff from Discovery, the EVIDENCE....That's when Brian asked for the continuance, for more time to get ready FOR TRIAL.
Since there was no further mention of the compromise, unlike the last conference, it clearly didn't come up.

Oma has posted the oddest account of what is happening with the Batchelor case (it seems to contradict your interpretation, Penelope, by alluding to deals cut behind closed doors that will not be part of the official record), but then she careens off onto a digression about the duties of a Christian. That's a little rich coming from someone who has dedicated years of her life to publishing the most outrageous personal attacks imaginable upon people through the internet. I mean to say, Pharisee, anyone?

For the record, I have heard nothing, from anyone at all, about anything to do it. Actually, nobody has EVER contacted me in the last nine years about any complaint filed by Oma Hamou/Alexandra McConnell, you know all those ones where Law Enforcement and the FBI are "actively pursuing" me and are coming to take me off in shackles any minute now.

Well, dears, here I am all confused again.
Ms. Hamou/McConnell/Murphy has claimed she has the money ready to make good on the bad check she wrote to Mrs. Batchelor. And she claims that nice District Attorney is willing and ready to accept that money in settlement of the case.
Yet the case just continues right on along, doesn't it, dears? What possible reason could there be for the District Attorney to continue to burden his caseload, for the court to continue to tie up time on a busy docket, and for Ms. Hamou's lawyer to continue to come to court time and time again on a case that has been amenable to settlement for weeks now? I do not remember its taking this long to settle the Microsoft antitrust suit or for Ford to cop a plea on the Pinto.
Common sense tells me that something is amiss here, my dears. Could it be that the nice District Attorney would accept the money if Ms. Hamou/McConnell/Murphy had it but, alas, she doesn't? If that's the case, might it not be prudent to take a slightly less capacious and stunningly-furnished apartment and at least to cut back on the hours the maid puts in? I mean Ms. Hamou/McConnell/Murphy's most recent housemate is still in jail and not likely to move back in given their apparent tiff, so it would seem Ms. H/M/M could cut back on at least one bedroom, now wouldn't it?
Has the tap run dry on that kind elder and ever-hopeful benefactor, Mr. Sproul I believe was his name?
I have to tell you, it's like The Greatest Hits Collection over there. So if I understand Oma correctly, it is now the District Attorney's fault that she was unable to pay up. Because he was unprepared yesterday. So the reason they are proceeding to pretrial is pro forma? They have to do that until the proper paperwork is produced? Which given the rate that this thing is progressing and the number of times Oma has had to be in court or jail has to be because it is being hand-lettered on vellum.

Discovery Review is a PRE TRIAL procedure. It means that all Discovery (evidence) is reviewed and each side says they are satisfied with Discovery and are ready to proceed to the Pre Trial (ON the EVIDENCE)...
SO, yeah, the Court wasted all that time and cost just because the DA wasn't "ready" with the "settlement" AFTER SIX WEEKS?

If some schmuck believed that chazzurai, then the police and FBI have spent more years investigating me than they did Madoff the Gonif or Jack Abramoff (did you know I went to High School with him? Don't you know? Oma/Alexandra is a total VICTIM. Everything bad that could happen, happens to HER. Just look at what she says. Abusive father caused her to run away as a child to Hollywood... She fell prey to Marcus Demian (at the height of her "tarnished gold" career! I loved that when you sent it...) who abused and beat her, raped her at gunpoint...the baby she carries dies as a result of the abuse...she is forced to run and hide as a result...
She went to JAIL in three states because of what someone else did, convicted of multiple Felonies because of someone else. She was arrested THREE times for Being a Fugitive from Justice for probation violations that were because the STATES screwed up records (not, of course because SHE had "conveniently" not paid the ordered restitution)... I think she expected things to go very differently when she arrived in Hollywood, and now that things have kind of sputtered out for her there is a lot of anger about the fact that her youth is gone, her looks are gone, and her chances of hitting it big there are gone. If she could be honest with herself, which she can't, she would know that all of this happened long before the fake film project. She made a lot of dumbass choices, like marrying the Demian guy for his money. The whole Russia thing was pretty glamorous for her while it was going on, but it couldn't keep going on because it was fundamentally a con game, and in the end she couldn't keep all of the balls in the air. She blames you and Mr. Atchison rather than admit that if Pallasart hadn't sued her, somebody would have and won. Several people and companies did. But the Pallasart connection struck at her "work" in Russia and cut her off from contact with the whole Romanov thing. (Fake Justin is right about one thing, I never understood that or cared about it, but man, Oma did!) So what can she do? She can't afford a p.r. agency and she wants to keep her name in front of the public. So she goes out on the internet and starts posting. Does anyone care? Not really. I guess there are a few people who might read her stuff like the Russophile woman but who really gives a shit at this point? I would be pissed off if I was you, though, since so much of what she writes is aimed at screwing up your reputation if people google your name. And I guess the Kedems are upset because of what happened with their sister.
So I guess my answer is that nobody really does care except Oma, and she probably cares so much because she doesn't really have a life yet. Maybe she never will. That would be sad, but at this point it's her own fault.

Now I am supposed to be the daughter of Marcus Demian. Sorry to disappoint you, Oma, but my father's name was Harold (his real first name was Albion, so you can see why he wanted to be called by his middle name --- in fact, even his children called him Harry) and he has been dead for fifteen years.
So it's been Schizophrenia City over on her forum today, with all of the voices in her head in high dudgeon. She is re-fighting the marriage with Marcus Demian. It'ds a little hard to think of her as a dewy innocent, since by her own account she was his tenth (not a typo) wife. She also had a child, so there it is. And she is also insisting that she was a kid when she arrived in Hollywood with her "pert" ass, which doesn't square with the fact that she had graduated from high school in Michigan before she left. Unless, of course, she was a genius and took her degree at thirteen.
So far she has been switching between her Justin impersonation (I always think that this one is closest to her real personality, if she even has such a thing any longer) and the supercilious lord-what-fools-these-mortals-be Handmaiden. As Handmaiden she referred to Atchison and Moshein's "cronies" --- including Demian and Tina, of course --- as "low lives". Which considering you married him and had her as a house guest is a little harsh, Ms. Hamou.
I am not as charitable as poor Justin, who has a sweetness of character that defies description. I think the lady is a grifter, a con artist, a thief, a liar and assorted other things. At the same time, she isn't exactly Darth Hamou, either. She is churning along as a sort of low-level annoyance, isn't she? While I understand the need to counteract the venom she is spewing on the internet, Rob, surely no one takes anything she says seriously. A simple search will pull up the entire sordid history with the current records of incarceration, etc. Isn't that what she claims happened with Mrs. Batchelor? I think it is interesting that if you do google her, you get just as many of her sites as links to this one. Presumably the interested reader can follow along each side and then make an informed judgment, no? Perhaps Mrs. Batchelor gleaned her opinion of Oma from Omahamou.com? By the way, Oma, when you were being served with the papers, was Mrs. Batchelor muttering under her breath about how you deserved it because of Moshein and Atchison? You know, like the guys that you claim assaulted you did? Did the police notice this time?

In face, I had a long conversation with New York Friday about my involvement in a national project regarding wine. Can't tell you more yet, the thing isn't ready to launch, but you will all hear as soon as I can. I'm stoked and needing to renew my Passport!
Are the voices now claiming you are Marcus Demian's daughter?? Now that's laughable. I haven't heard from Marcus in years, I don't even know where his is these days, if he's even still alive. I spoke to his son a couple of times, he had nothing good to say about Oma..but again that was years ago.
Oma was no wunderkind. Google shows she registered on Classmates as Albion High School class of 1981, making her 18. I have always wondered how she/they can all claim Oma Hamou ran away as a child to Los Angeles, when Oma herself ADMITS to graduating from High School in Michigan...
and they wonder why nobody believes what Oma/Alexandra says....

As God is my witness, I had no idea that my father's first name --- Albion --- had any connection with Oma Hamou, and now it turns out both from her howling over on her forum, and your information on this one --- that it does! Small world. If it helps, Oma, Harry was as embarrassed by "Albion" as you apparently are.
I have stopped being Marcus Demian, by the way, and am now back to being Bob Atchison. She went into "Snoopy" mode with her hair on fire, demanding to know where I had gotten the idea that she thought I was Demian.

Meanwhile, of course, she can't deny any of the observations/questions/facts that have been posted on this forum, so she resorts to screeching like a howler monkey ("Snoopy"), boring us to tears ("Sandman") or lofty disdain ("Handmaiden"). All Oma, All the Time.

You hit the nail on the head. For a decade or more, Oma Hamou/Alexandra McConnell has claimed "success" as an actress and model yet for a decade, NOT ONE SHRED of proof of these claims. Logically flowing, the rest of her blather is equally suspect.

This is actually Haley. I'm not going to say anything negative about Oma, but I have not spoken to her since 2007. I don't know what the hell kind of document I purportedly wrote, but I definitely did not write it within the last 3-4 years.
I am getting really frustrated googling my name and then seeing that year after year I'm being dragged into all this. I would appreciate if the owners of this blog would take out my first and last name. If you don't, then you're just as disrespectful in giving me the privacy I deserve and would like. There is no reason to put MY FULL NAME on here - regardless of whether or not she did it. I am a young adult. I do not need this nonsense following me around. Just because she threw it out there does not mean everyone else gets to as well. I have a life of my own. I am not involved IN ANY OF THIS. I do not want anything to do with her. It seems odd that you post here in an almost year old post, instead of something more recent. I will give you the benefit of doubt.
To be honest, should you prove to me that you are genuine, and frankly your former stepmother has created many pseudonyms, I will redact your name in my blog. However this will not reduce the google results for more than a year.
I must ask. have YOU requested the same from OMA who now includes your name and these purported documents? If not, I will not touch my blog.
I'm truly sorry that you have been dragged into this, but such is Oma and her Modus Operandi. I have had to deal with it for a decade now, so my sympathy for you is, well, not what it might be as a result. I hope you understand.
